great pizza! enjoyed the ones with clams - diced small and really tasty! had the limoncello spritz and stracciatella to go along with the pizza.nnAlice did a really good job in giving a rundown of the menu and recommending what’s good.nnMy jaw hurts from finishing the whole pizza but damn it was good
Was on a work trip from Melbourne and dropped by this establishment. Team and service even though so busy managed to squeeze us in and it was top notch. Would say it was better than a lot of the Melbourne establishments for pizza and everything here was soo nice. From memory the clam pizza was unique but also realllyyy tasty
The best Pizza we have had in Sydney so far Pepperoni. The tomatoes with anchovies were fantastic! Tuna Crudo lost the tuna in the sauce but not bad. The mushrooms had good texture but the spicy spice mix lost the mushrooms while the Cannoli was too hard and filling too thick. The jersey milk with mandarin granite a great dessert. Unfortunately the Limoncello was awful with a soapy taste…not sure what has gone wrong there. Overall a great experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Bella Bruta is a must-visit in Sydney if you’re after some authentic wood-fired pizza. Had three different pizzas during my visit, which are Margherita, Potato, and Sausage, and here’s how they ranked up for me.nnThe Potato Pizza was my personal favorite, with its rich and creamy combination of roast potatoes, fior di latte, gorgonzola, confit garlic, and rosemary. It felt indulgent without being overwhelming.nnThe Sausage Pizza came second, offering a great balance of flavors. The chili added a slight kick, while the zuni pickle brought a tangy edge that complemented the rich salsiccia and parmesan.nnFinally, the Margherita Pizza, though fresh and simple, was best enjoyed hot. Once cooled, the flavors became less impactful compared to the others.nnI visited during dinner hours 6:30 pm and waited 30 minutes for a table, so I’d recommend booking in advance during peak times.nnOverall, Bella Bruta serves thin, crispy pizzas that capture the essence of Italian-style cooking. The Potato and Sausage pizzas are standout options and worth trying!
