I am extremely disappointed with the administrative experience at this clinic. Despite arriving on time for our scheduled appointment, we waited well over an hour past the allotted time. The receptionist’s conduct was unacceptable—communication was poor, there was no explanation for the extended delay, and we were not even acknowledged or updated during the wait. This lack of professionalism at the front desk is inexcusable and reflects poorly on the clinic’s management of patient care.nnHowever, once we met with the doctor, the experience changed. The doctor was courteous and empathetic, promptly apologised for the wait, and provided a thorough and considerate consultation. The contrast between the reception and the medical consultation could not have been more stark.nnIn summary:nnReception: 0 stars – due to unprofessional and indifferent service.nnDoctor: 5 stars – for professionalism, communication, and patient care.nnUntil there is significant improvement in the administration and patient communication at the reception, I cannot recommend this clinic based on the current front desk service, though I commend the medical staff itself for their dedication and professionalism.
I visited Belconnen Medical Centre for a routine checkup and had a great experience. The receptionist was extremely helpful, asked all the right questions, and guided me on how I could claim reimbursement through my personal mediclaim. Dr. Aparna Pilla was kind, knowledgeable, and addressed all our queries with care. I would happily rate her 5 stars!
Staff were rude last Wed morning. We called up to see if a iron transfusion was going ahead as scheduled. They told us about 2 weeks prior it had been booked. There was no booking and they gave us no answers as to why this was and the lady was rude on the phone. This was actually quite a serious health concern and we had taken time off just to go. We never got the call back we requested and never got any answers. I suspect the Doctor neglected to actually make the booking.
I would highly recommend Dr Mubashir. He has been a very humble and a professional GP and an excellent paediatrician. He has very rightly diagnosed issues with my kids that many other GPs weren't able to make out.
Upon arrival, I waited for 40 minutes before being informed that Ms. Van Order had not reviewed her appointments, was completely unaware of my booking, and was already packing up to leave without seeing me or offering even a basic apology.
