Story

Located in leafy Blackwood, the gateway to the Adelaide Hills, The Belair Hotel was established in 1869 by Robert Burfield, and formerly known as The Blackwood Inn.

Most recently updated in 2009 and winning Australia's Best Bistro (AHA) in 2010 & 2011, The Belair Hotel continues to strive to provide a range of dining, drinking and entertainment options to cater to the needs of the local community, and visitors to the popular Adelaide Hills region. Our kids play area and chill out room is extremely popular with families and the Main Bar is a great place to enjoy a meal and a drink with friends. Full TAB and pool table is available in the Front Bar with daily Happy Hours and meals deals!

I have been to the Belair Hotel several times over the past 5 years or so and am never disappointed. It has a great family friendly atmosphere with access to a playground for the kids. Just went for coffee today, which was really nice but have previously had great meals there too. Always a favourite catch up spot!
Amazing food. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right ingredients. No complaints with service. Pretty good ambiance for a Friday lunch
Great food... Great service just took awhile to get food. Felt like Chefs were under the pump. Otherwise we enjoyed the experience.
Nice big tables which are good for groups. Good for kids with playground and kids meals with game sheet. Meals were good but the pork belly serves were a bit small.
Good venue and good food. My salmon and salad was pretty interesting in flavour profile, not something I would order again.
Excellent service and great staff, that bloke Sam is a legend around the bar and his band is a must see
I had a prawn and blue swimmer crab linguini and it was delicious. Staff were very efficient and delivered meals promptly. We will certainly go here again.
Nice food, a good selection of regular and craft beers. Nice decor.
