I got there at 9am and didnt get offered a duty lawyer. So i was put last on the list and didnt get out till 3pm there was alot of people getting to court just to get adjourned what a waste of time the judge was abit arrogant didnt really listen to my plea and gave me a suspension and a fine.
I travel for about 1 hour to find you are closed when it says you are open on the website and then I find out you have been closed for the past week since Friday 17th December. How hard is it to update your website? You would not survive in business in the real world.
So court has been closed due to covid. I'm currently pregnant and need to resolve an issue with a dvo and they adjourned the court for another month this needs to be sorted out ASAP not in a months time, why can't the court organise proceedings threw zoom video call

I was very surprised how different it was to the one I have been to previously which is Holland Park mag. From the office staff to the security staff who jump in your face to ask what you are requiring and to the nasty pack of magistrates known far and wide for their tempers and their own personal dislikes of particular crimes. isn't that discrimination?? Beenleigh, the security - respectful and assisting. The clerical staff- human beings that spoke to you and actually assisted. Then the bailiff, even the prosecutor were civil and helped to maintain order and even my judge a lady was nice enough to pause to explain a quick query of mine. She didn't yell at me, bring on extra charges or embarrass me by kicking me out of the court to have a very informal chat with my wife for 7 minutes. I personally think some of what I have stated be investigated and some Magistrates stood down.
Annabel, duty lawyer, not recommended, didn't stand up for me, said nothing, then blamed the Magistrate after. Find another one.
Just spent 25mins standing at the front of the line ,being ignored multiple times, just to ask a yes or no question,. You lot need some more staff
Judge was a little rude. Prosecutor had a mild attitude which I didn't particularly appreciate. Other than that, it was a great experience. See you guys in a few weeks :

I took a get out of jail free card from monopoly but the judge was not impressed so I rolled a double and got outta there.
