I've just received my latest order with Bee One Third. When I was introduced to this brand, I noticed each honey variety is named after the place where the beehive resides. Connecting my appreciation or impression of the place with each already delicious flavour makes it taste even more special. Each variety I've tried so far has been distinct, and enjoyable for its own flavour profile. Every online order has been processed and delivered promptly. I'm grateful for being introduced to a well-run local business that makes such nice honey and supports other local businesses.
We purchased the smaller jars to use in our gift hampers, they were the perfect addition! And have received great feedback from our clients on how they love that the honey was locally sourced from different areas across Brisbane.
Top shelf products delicious! and first class service. Received one of their gift boxes as a thank you from one of my providers, and I was so impressed I ordered a box for all my 16 staff! My order was short notice but communications from Jack and Joel were excellent and I was able to pick the order up at my request to ensure I got it in time. Highly recommended!
I engaged with Jack to install and manage hives at Brisbane Airport. Being the airport, having bees is one of the few things we can do to improve the biodiversity value. Jack is a passionatea and amazing operator and couldn't imagine anyone else providing the service.
I needed a 1kg block of wax ASAP and couldn’t make it across town to pick it up from their warehouse. They organised to have it shipped with an order that was headed to another customer near-by. They arranged with that customer to hold it for me and advised I could pay cash on pickup. This folks, is what impeccable customer service looks like!
Have tried the Byron Bay and Northern Rivers honey, along with bee pollen. The Byron Bay one tastes like you're eating flowers, its SO beautiful. Met Jack at the workshop in Brisbane and he showed me around which was far more then I was expecting! Love the work he is doing along side the bees. I've never heard of eating bee pollen before, however it has great nutritional benefits and will be coming back for more. Great to know all the by-products of the hive are being used! Bee One Third is seriously the best honey I've ever had!!
I tried a sample size that was in a gift bag at a fashion show and it was the best honey I've ever tasted. I rarely buy honey because I just don't eat it often enough. But this honey was so lovely it made me want to buy some gourmet crumpets just to taste it again. Not sure which one it was but the packaging looks like the Byron Bay one first image on the website. Cheers
Bee Pollen is excellent quality. My first order the jar was broken in transit and they immediately replaced it no questions asked. Very impressive.
I love this product so much. The Byron Bay honey reminds me of my childhood; and cooked, in a cup of tea, on toast, or raw on a teaspoon, it tastes so beautiful. I ran out recently and had to use some “emergency honey” - major store availability, common brand but “100% pure raw Australian honey” none-the-less - and it completely changed the flavour of the dish I was using it in...not in a good way either. One question: do you recycle your packaging? The jars are a great size for pickling, but I have enough for now and would love to get them back to you for reuse! Keep it up apiarists! I’m a big fan :
In June, 2018 we partnered with Bee One Third – Neighbourhood Honey to install six bee hives at our Brookhaven Sales Centre as part of our environmental initiatives involving the community. The hives have been really well received by our residents and the general public, as people love the fact we have them on-site. The beautiful 'Haven Honey' that the bees continually produce has been an absolute hit too! But the highlight of having the bee hives at our project has actually been working with Jack Stone on producing ‘The Bee Series’. These free informational workshops always book out as soon as they are promoted, as it’s not every day people get to have access to an amazing Bee Keeper with the wealth of knowledge that Jack does and have things explained to you in laymen’s terms so you actually understand them. There is so much to the world of bees and we are all absolutely fascinated to learn more so feel extremely lucky to be able to work with Jack and the Bee One Third team to continue to do so. We highly recommend them if you are looking to introduce bee hives into your workplace, they really are the best in the business. Sian Buchanan, Community Development Manager, Brookhaven
