Date/time of visit: 30 March 2022, 12:30pm Excellent customer service, very helpful, empathic to customer needs. Great food, at good prices. The lasagne was deceptively large and consumed with enjoyment. This is a very popular cafe that has been around for a very long time.
There is a really cool vibe to this cafe. It's partly the old time feel and partly the decorations. The coffee and the service are good. There are both inside and outside tables I didn't try the food but it looks good too and I will be back to try it.
Always a nice place to hang out. Has that French bistro feel that makes the world feel just that little more special.
Best Salmon and Salad Sandwich I consumed in Tasmania on my two-week visit. Enjoyed my coffee and friendly efficient staff.
Treat yourself to some delicious scones here, they are the best scones we have ever eaten apart from our home made ones. Soft, light and so very very fresh, went perfectly with our Coffees which were excellent as well. Well done, we'll be back!
What a beautiful, well run cafe in Hobart CBD. Terrific food and the cappuccino was best in town.
Went in looking for a job in front of house and to leave my resume. Only to rudely spoken by the barista, who I assume is the boss/supervisor of the cafe. He wouldn't allow to me ask if there was any employment or allow me leave my resume and rudely responded to me by repeatedly saying No when ever I replied, acting like I wasn't worth his time. Unprofessional.
Best chocolate I've head in my life. Super creamy, hot and with yummy chocolate parts on top. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, great service, very nice atmosphere. Place was a bit busy but not loud in any way --> perfect acoustics. I can only recommend the caramel slice - so yum!
