The new BCF in Palmerston is massive and easy to shop in. Huge range of gear and the customer service is spot on. Staff actually take the time to help you find what you need. Great addition to the area.
Had a great experience at BCF Palmerston thanks to one of the team members, Justin. He really went above and beyond to help me get set up with everything I needed for my 4WD. Amazing service from staff when I was stuck with choices for the Yeti bottles.nnThe 2 lady cashiers who helped told me that the Yetis are so good at holding cold drinks that I'll still be able to see ice after a few hours out and about with the bottle.nnThey weren't kidding! I'm squealing like a 5 year old at seeing ice cubes still floating in my bottle that I popped in about 6 hours ago. Well, they're the giant ice cubes from the ice tray from Kmart that have melted slowly to small chunks. But still......awesome stuff! Money well spent!nnAnother lady working the floor helped me choose the best size to get. I was stuck between the 18oz and 26 oz. She put the bottles side by side and also showed me the various screw caps that I could get for the Yeti. Ended up getting the 26 oz in blue.nnI asked about holding hot drinks and one British lady took her own Yeti out, tested her coffee and said oh, it's still warm I then cracked a joke about trying to fill the Yeti with lava because the 2 lady cashiers assured me that I could fill any hot beverage in it. Didn't matter if it was over 100 degrees Celsius. One lady responded that I could try and it would be a great selling point for Yeti.
Good range of gear although it has the disadvantage of being a lot smaller than the Millner store.nFriendly staff and easily accessible.
BCF really does have everything you need or want for your adventure. Whether browsing or buying there’s plenty to spark your interest.
