Staff not interested in getting stock in storage to sell an item as it seemed to much effort for them.nnWhen phoning other BCF Stores for stock on the floor, the staff member was having a full on conversation with other staff member on the phone whilst we were waiting for an answer as to which store to go to.nnVery unimpressed as the usual service is good but this time was shocking!
Today I went to BCF Joondalup, staff were really friendly and helpful especially Ben provided me with amazing customer service and gave me all necessary information and many useful recommendations that solved a lot of my questions about choosing a fishing rod and reelnnThank you Ben for your kind help, I will definitely come to visit you and buy some more stuff again
Staff not interested in helping, staff have no idea what stock they have or were it might be located in the store. Refused to price match an identical item sold by a competitor in the same suburb. Left empty handed and spent my money with thier competitor
I had recently bought a fishing rod two days ago, to pair with a reel I had also bought. The rod was recommended by a staff member as it supposedly paired nicely with the ‘Nasci’ reel. I had used the rod yesterday with only a few casts in fresh water. Just to realise that the rod 6 pound line would get caught on the eyelets almost every cast…nAfter changing with 2 diffrent reels I had deemed the rod practical unusable.nToday I came and spoke with a staff member named Luke, working at the service desk, only to be immediately greeted with a great sense of disdain. I had expressed that the rod had performed extremely poorly and not as advertised at all, immediately, I was shut off by staff member Luke, who assertively and rudely stated that “without the tag on the rod cannot be re-sold” and “I cannot sell a used rod, can I”.nI kindly reiterated that I had used the rod only once and in fresh water, and as anyone would do to test a rod, taken the tags off - as to use the rod while they are on is quite literally impossible.nI was then again immediately shut down by staff member Luke’s abrasiveness, and told that there is no possibility of the rod being replaced or refunded.nNow, I understand how in this staff members eyes such a refund may not concord with the terms of bcf policy, i was refused a chance to explain how the policy stated it appropriate for such a return. Luke had refused to even look at the rod, had shown no understanding and complete disrespect to myself and to friends of mine generally as well in previous circumstances. I am a loyal customer at joondalup bcf and I will continue to be so, I find most staff there to be incredibly kind, respectful and approachable, though this sort of service from Luke is pretty shocking and personally pretty upsetting. I hope this review can be taken into consideration.
Store was well stocked, although it was busy the day I was there got served quickly.
