Lovely place. Exterior is very beautiful like a piece of history in modern times. Interior was well maintained and furnished. The art show was good. Sitting at the court yard with a nice hot long back and the sun shining on your face during Spring is an amazing feeling :
An amazing concert put on by our own Eskimo Joe. Have never been to a concert here at the Arts Centre before. So great they chose their home town to finish the 2022 tour. 3rd time I have been able to see one of their concerts and they are awesome every time.
Historic building preserved in really good condition. Came here on a weekday with almost no visitors inside. I can imagine the vibe in the yard when people gather for events.
This place is stunning! There is street parking nearby paid not suitable for a caravan. It is free entry with a lovely cafe inside also. The vibes here are excellent with great art displays. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
The Fremantle Arts Centre is fantastic. Housed in the historic Old Asylum building, it is the perfect blend of old and new. Apart from showcasing artists and their works they also run art and art appreciation courses. Wednesday is a great time to bring very young kids because the Toy Library is on site to keep the fun going. The grounds outside are brilliant for a quick coffee, picnic or just a walk around.
Fremantle has fabulous art and heritage.Well worth 3 + days here. The Fremantle Art centre is housed in the old Women's Asylum. The lime stone block buildings are well cared for and accessible.A gem for Fremantle
Totally lovely place. Offer kids art courses and yum food. Bring extra cash for the art shop as goods are pricy. Great space for kiss. Gallery is free. Bring your own picnic and go for a walk around the property. Great place of peace.
The grounds of the Art Centre are really beautiful. Its a great place to spend the day walking around looking at art or enjoying one of the free music events they often have on in the court yard. The building itself also is rich in history being originally built as an Asylum and one of the oldest buildings in West Australia.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Highly recommend to visit here. They have a couple of sections that people are able to touch the art and experience it.
Beautiful space. Great location, always a lovely spot and great events.
