Seven of us came to Bayview Bakery Cafe on a Sunday morning for some breakfast. I ordered the ham, cheese and tomato croissant which I was very disappointed about. The cheese tasted like plastic artificial American cheese and the ham was thicker than the Harry Potter books. On the previous day I had ordered a sausage roll which was very delicious. But unfortunately, I couldn't rid the taste of that awful croissant from my mouth for the entire day.
Staff were friendly and efficient which is great. However the coffee was not good and for some reason expensive, would avoid it to be honest. Can't speak for the baked goods.

The service at The Bayview Bakery Cafe is so bad it’s actually comical. It is located in a easy access area in the heart of Vincentia’s little shopping mall. It’s the perfect spot for a quick breakfast before walking across the road to Collingwood Beach for the day. I have eaten here many times over the past twenty years, however it has recently changed owners and they have no service skills, no manners, no common sense and are extremely rude. My husband was recently in line waiting to order a coffee and witnessed the owner throwing beetroot at a customer because they returned their burger saying they forgot to add the beetroot. The beetroot ended up all over the line of customers, who all witnessed the yelling and abuse from the shop owner. This was the first of two such incidences my husband witnessed in two days in January 2019.
Cakes are okay but not as good as the prices would indicate prices are not on the products sooo hard to tell if people are being charged tourist prices or what's what and it has good opening Hours compared to everything else aroundFood: 4/5
Love coming to this bakery each year when we stay at Vincentia. Always really lovely staff and delicious and fresh goodies!
Ridiculously bad service at this bakery. We ordered pies, all available in the hot-food cabinet behind the counter, plus 2 servings of hot chips. 20 minutes later, still no food served at our table, as they were waiting for our chips to finish cooking. I went to enquire about my order. My polite enquiry was met with a rude response from the woman serving. Pies were average. I should have heeded the advice from other reviews on here and chosen to go elsewhere. Such a shame as location of bakery is good.
Great value for money Vietnamese bakery which stays open later than most other takeaway/eat in places in the area. I enjoyed a bagel with sun dried tomato, smashed avocado, cream cheese and hot chips on the side. Also bought an Almond croissant for afternoon tea
Ran in after closing and the owner still served me - very friendly and helpful! Delicious almond croissants and the date scones were so moist they didn't even need butter or cream!
Worst pie I’ve had on the coast to date. Soft guey pastry, filled with gravy and a dash of meat.
