I was quite shocked and disappointed at the way my case was handled at Bayswater dental. I find Les to be quite an abrupt and short person who doesn't like being questioned on his mishandling of situations. I went to pick up my retainers from Les, only to find he had not in fact sent them off to be made. When I asked why this was the case? He proceeded to say that he'd written what I said in verbatim- "that I would be seeing another dentist" and that you pretty much can't argue as these are the hard and fast facts. What in fact I said was that I would try to go with another health fund if mine didn't cover the retainers. It wasn't so much that this misunderstanding happened- as miscommunication can happen. It was definitely the way Les handled the situation. He was rude and short with me, often cutting me off when I tried to explain my side...even after he'd had a chance to explain his. He was blunt in that these were the facts. I tried to tell him that's your perspective and I have mine. What's more is that if he was unsure if I wanted to go through with the retainers, a simple phone call could have been made to me to clarify this. Logic will even tell you that it makes no sense to drive over one hour to come and pick up the retainers and arrange two appointments in order to do this. Instead of arguing your point, it would have been better to acknowledge a miscommunication has happened and suggest a solution that keeps your clients loyal and happy. A very disappointing mishandling of the situation, I don't often come across such poor service and feel sorry for anyone that finds them self in a dilemma with Les, as he can lack empathy. At the end of the day I am paying him for his services, he is not doing me a favour.

I like this dentist, he's pretty on to it.  I don't like pain and I had the worst teeth I'd say with receding gums, plaque (yuck) and he had to do a root canal on my teeth.  It was expensive not that I compared it or anything just hurt my pocket a lot, cos I had no insurance, so that sucked.  Had to go 4 times to get it completed, cost me about $300 or so a pop to get the root canal done on the one teeth but that also included the xray scaling clean and fluoride I think.  I was supposed to keep going but I had no money and still broke, considering going again cos my root canal is starting to feel sensitive and a bit achy.  I've got insurance now but I don't think it covers the root canal, they may have to fix it again... sigh more money going out.  I'll be booking again to go to them, can't be bothered checking around.  He's ok so is the girl who helps. I dont like going to the dentist but I have to cos I dont look after my teeth properly. :(

Dr Mighalls and Lisa made my dreams come true! I had been unhappy with my teeth for years and when I finally made the leap to get braces again, I went to multiple dental practises looking for the right one for me, finally deciding that Bayswater Dental was the perfect one. 
Dr Mighalls took the time to explain the process and made sure that I was happy each step of the way. Lisa was exceptional, always making me feel welcome and comfortable.They were also flexible making appointments due to my work commitments. 
I recently went out to a work function which in the past never had the confidence to do, I caught myself covering my mouth whilst I was smiling, then suddenly I thought to myself, why am I doing that? I have a wonderful smile because of Dr Mighalls and Lisa. My new teeth have made me a happier, more confident person in all avenues of my life. 
I can't thank Dr Mighalls and Lisa enough.

Thorough and precise. Straightened my teeth for me in just 4 months. Great with kids too.  Our 3 year old was very happy to get in the chair. Definitely recommend.
