I have been here many times and find the food very nice. I particularly enjoyed the platters that allowed me to sample pretty much everything on the menu. Drinks-wise, there are too many choices, but I always enjoyed a mug of Devil's Daughter. I came here again on a Sunday with my family and my kids really enjoyed the food, as well as the in-house face-painter. But I really don't think they should charge 10% extra on Sunday. Even if the staff is costing more, this cost should not be passed on to the customers.
This restaurant never disappoints. The menu is great and huge servings too, so sharing platters are a great idea. They have a great range of beers and even ones for the ladies. Great atmosphere and set in an old church so there's lot to look at and take photos of too. This restaurant is great for big parties and get togethers. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
This is such a great place for a drink and a feed. I cannot overstate the level of quality of the food and the service. We booked online and when we arrived, despite the fact that it was busy, we were immediately seated and given menus, and then option to order drinks. Our drinks were delivered quickly and our appetizers were out soon after. We order the sausage platter for two people. It was huge way more than two people could eat. The sausages were sooo good. My favourite was the chicken and coriander. The soft pretzel was great too. We also got free t-shirts and beer mugs because it was October-fest!! Best food. Best service. Great decor and ambience. I'm gutted that this place is closing down. I'm going to miss it.
Food was good and beer garden was fairly quiet Sunday 12pm. They forgot one of our orders, but gave us a refund and a voucher for the next day. Only thing that I didn't really like was that you had to order at the bar, which I'm sure you didn't have too last time I went a couple of years ago. Either way was still enjoyable and worth a visit.
I went around 2pm for a late lunch, and it was pleasantly quiet. And for that, we technically had the place to ourselves. The gentleman who served us was amazingly helpful and funny, which I unfortunately wasn't able to catch his name. As seen in previous ratings, their food is absolutely delicious, and as a German restaurant, there was a lot of meat on the platters we ordered. The perfect amount for the 6 of us to share from. All in all, service was great, food was bliss and the beer was amazing as well. I rate 8/8
Freaking awesome and fun. Great to chill out with very quick food. Awesome service. Great feed. I got the pretzels, ribs, big stein beer which was so yummy and cold and the waffles. I wouldn't get the waffles again but I am happy I tried them. Feels like you stepped into Germany and there was a performer with an accordion. He was really pro and fun. Everyone here is just in a great mood and the vibe is positive
Food serving here is generous, I ordered a tasting plate and it would feed a family! Ambient here is very nice because the building used to be a church, it is very special having a drink inside of an old church that’s been done up. Services by the waitress and waiter are exceptional. Recommended.
Nice restaurant, great vibes. I ordered the exact same salad as I did at Munich Brauhaus in the city. It was great, but not as generous with the ingredients.
The five of us had a great time here. We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't very crowded. The staff was super helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. The food tasted great and obviously there was a wide variety of beer. The ambiance was comparable to the one in the city but not quite there obviously.
Extremely happy! service was fantastic from Liam, food was excellent as their wide range of Biers! thanks for looking after my team!
