This place is not even close to a Bavarian restaurant, nice try though ; The schnitzel was pretty dry and slatless. Basically there was no salt in anything. Beer was not cold enough and didn't taste good. I tried lager. Staff were nice and friendly though and the view was good. But for the price I do not recommend this.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff who helped accommodate us to a seating of our preference. There is an outdoor and indoor seating option, with stunning views of Brisbane river and Story Bridge. Food came out super fast, fresh, delicious and plentiful. We ordered pretzels, potato gems, pork knuckle, mashed potatoes and red sauerkraut --- all of which were delicious and hot. The bar was somewhat slower than the kitchen, and we received the wrong drinks a couple of times, but the staff were super friendly about correcting this. These issues may have been from how busy it was when we were there.
An awesome way to end the week and celebrate the year we’ve had with work friends and colleagues at @the.bavarian . The start was a little rocky cos someone ordered 3 plates of kiddies meals for a table of hungry adults . But soon after that, the arvo was back on track with beers flowing and the food platters eventually making their way to our tables. The pork belly dishes were pretty good, the bao with the perk belly in it was good too . Super packed and buzzing atmosphere - thanks to everyone having end of year celebrations but all in all a great time with great people, a great view and good food
Been in Brissy 3 days. This was the best dining experience by far and IMO the best gastropub on the river. We ordered the southern chicken platter for 2. Better than any Fried Chicken and Beer speciality restaurant in Brisbane. Service friendly and fast. Lovely sitting by the river too.

Had such a lovely family birthday dinner. Customer service was fabulous. Thanks Alex, Alex, Lewis, Camilo the bartender, Courtney, Shannon & Hyana for making it a special evening. View of the bridge was brilliant, German and pop music mash up
Pretty good value meals, awesome view, toilets nice and clean. Service could have been quicker, didn't bring entrees, it can out with mains. Staff very pleasant.

Signature platter for 2, came with a warm pretzel each. It was one of the better pretzels I’d tasted for a while.if you are not a big eater, the platter is good for 3 even though it’s meant for 2. The Dunkel is my favourite. The chic schnitzel was good but not my favourite. The crackling pork and knuckle is the highlight of the dish, and the smoked sausages tasted good. The sauerkraut and red cabbage gives good contrast. Covid hygiene rules in place. Staff were pleasant and helpful, but took quite a Long while for a jug of water and the bill to be served. Venue has a large sitting capacity.
Great place, the best deep fried pickles I've ever had. Got the Jack Daniels meal combo for two with my husband. So much food we couldn't finish it and that's never happened. All so delicious. Only downfall was the loud live music that was almost deafening.
