Have only been here a few times but every time has been amazing. Best fish and chips I’ve had definitely recommend to everyone will now be our go to!!

One of the best around

Coming from New Zealand this is the best fish and chip shop aside from hunky dory but that's gourmet and a lot pricier that we have had here in Melbourne. Staff are always super friendly and generous with servings. Sadly we no longer live locally but we will be back for more!

Excellent in Service, Cleanliness and quality of food

Literally the best fish and chips I've had! The fish is thick and beautifully cooked. I have the grilled flake and it's never dry! And they are always generous with their servings. You'll always find extra potato cakes or dim sims with your order. And to top it off... really friendly service!

Batesford is hands down one of the best fish and Chips available in Melbourne, homemade potato cakes, unique menu items and lovely and welcoming staff, have recommended this place to all of my friends in the Chadstone/Melbourne area!
