The Basso is a casual and friendly place. It has a good selection of beer on tap. Good pub food. The music bar is great, playing a good selection of original local artists and bands each Friday night. The person running the mixing desk is very good, so the sound is great!

Get to The Basso ON Wednesday nights, pay a tiny entrance fee of $5 and watch stand-up comedy that is fresh, raw, edgy and full of unexpected moments. Laughter is the best medicine. Historic building too so it feels like a good venue, not an arrogant bar full of fakery. Thius place is real and so are the people.

The food was surprisingly good. Burgers were juicy, filling, and delicious. The Caesar salad was huge and tasty, and the other options were thoroughly enjoyed by others, including the parmy and steak sandwich. Reasonable pricing. Monday night, and was dead quiet in there, which is a bit of a shame. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, worth a visit... Especially for $17 burgers on a Monday night.

Decent food, good atmosphere and good range of beers. Lots of TVs for Sports lovers and some great bands of the back on weekends.

Love coming here for beers and food. They have an awesome selection of craft beers and tasty, interesting food. I love both the tapas and pub fare options.
