A perfect spot for lunch with family or friends that kids will also enjoy. The food is well priced and of an excellent standard. The wines are their own and while I only tried the Chardonnay I can highly recommend it. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Seating options allow for both indoor and outdoor depending on your preference and no matter where you're seated there are beautiful scenic views of the farm and the bay with Queenscliff in the distance. If farm animals interest you then be sure to say hello to the alpacas in the paddock. Basil's farm was a great day out and we'll definitely come again next time we're in the Bellarine.
What a beautiful place for lunch with fantastic friends. The service was perfect. Our waitress was friendly & knowledgeable. We had a tasting plate to share, yes we couldn’t fit it all in!! My only “complaint” more a suggestion really, is that the salmon fritter was a bit dry, felt like it needed a sauce. Our friend had the Sri Lankan Curry - she’s Sri Lankan & was immediately transported back there. Her partner had the beef ribs, he was very impressed. The wander through the veggie & herb gardens was a wonderful end to our meal. The view was just what we needed. So relaxing. Highly recommended.
Good environment and a beautiful place to chill. Just that the lamb and duck that we ordered is dry feels like it's pre-cooked beforehand and reheat again when someone orders. The cheese platter is amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. The little farm is pretty, but I didn't expect most of the veggies and fruits is dying. Better get it trimmed.
Beautiful place and lovely atmosphere. Staff and service were excellent. Really enjoyed our lunch here today with my family. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend it.
Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Basil's farm for lunch and will definitely visit again. The menu is varied and easily caters for different tastes and dietary requirements. We enjoyed the lamb and pork. The prosecco was a very nice way to start our afternoon. The service is friendly and attentive. This was an all round great experience with delicious, well presented food served by helpful wait staff at a very scenic part of the Bellarine. Parking: Easy parking. Dietary restrictions: Dietary requirements catered for well.
We absolutely loved our visit to Basils Farm. The food and wine was excellent and they have such a beautiful location. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. We also had a 14 month old with us and they were fully equipped to cater for the little ones. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I’d highly recommend this spot on the Bellarine Peninsula!

We had a fantastic afternoon at Basil's Farm. Such a picturesque relaxing setting and a garden table was perfect on a beautiful weather day. Also really great outdoors if you have kids. They have a sandpit with toys to keep the little ones entertained. Tip..when booking ask for a table next to it so you can keep an eye on the kids while eating. All our food was super tasty and delicious. Our group tried the mussels amazing, satay chicken, squid and pork belly as well as multiple desserts...we could not fault a thing. Service was first class.
Beautiful food but on the right day with the fight weather, sublime experience sitting on the deck to eat. Voews, charm, quaint and sophisticated.
I did resarvation in restaurant on varanda for 4 people but when we came we get table inside cafe next to toileti ask to chenge but stuff told that veranda all booked after i told that we dont like to sit next to toilet stuff found table for us but its was in end of hall, table for 2 person that was very smalleven cant fit all dishes and was very noice, people shouted so i coudnt heard musicWhy i put 3 star and not 1 because food was tasty but over priceEven in Yarra ville price more availableI dont recommend this restaurant
