If I could rate this place a zero based on the manager, I would. I have never experienced such a rude, righteous, arrogant person in my life. Visited today, just wanted a quick bite. Staff told us what we could order in the timeframe we had. Ordered immediately, including drinks. Went outside to wait. As drinks didn't come, I went back inside to enquire whether I needed to collect the drinks before the food came. Manager came in,had not been involved to date. Knew nothing. Accused me of complaining and told me to go to McDonald's if I wanted McDonald's service. I was speachless and then tried to explain but he would not listen. Our drinks ended up being wrong so I went back inside and just asked for our money back as I really didn't want to be there anymore and be treated in thàt way. He refused and continued to suggest I was in the wrong and my attitude was the problem. My husband got involved and, I admit, did swear at him for disrespecting me at which point he threatened the police. I ended up just saying that he hadn't been involved at all in my order, that he had come in without any information and started accusing me of something that wasn't real and then disrespected me by saying that my expectations were nothing more than that of McDonald's service and my attitude was wrong. I suggested he needed to reflect on his attitude. He couldn't respond to that. He is an awful human being who absolutely spoilt our day with his complete uninformed arrogance. I would suggest everyone stay away from this business. In relation to the response, of course I disagree. I use social media to review places I've been all the time and for the most part, they are positive. This is not about 'revenge' it's about sharing the experience. I admitted that my husband swore - but I didn't and I was the person who was disrespected in this scenario (before my husband became involved). The whole 9 minute thing was nothing to me - his staff assumed I was re-entering to complain and he immediately went on the defensive, without even asking me a question. Nine minutes is something his staff member bought up, not me and I wasn't back inside for that reason. So, he was wrong, he knows it. My husband was wrong too - I admitted that upfront in my review - it is a fair review of my experience and my perception of the manager - and I am not the only one, if you read other reviews.

Look, the food is great. Unfortunately the owner does not treat his staff with respect, nore does he treat the customers with respect. I reserved the room with the couches for myself, son, my grandmother and my Uncle. When we turned up and the owner was in there with another gentleman, he looked unimpressed that we had hired the room, they did not want to leave the room, they just say there looking at us and when they finally did leave the owner said "I am the owner" in a arrogant manner, like that meant we should have let him just stay there and we should have left instead. I don't care if you are the owner, you can't just take booked rooms away from paying customers and then act like they're the inconvenient one.

Good food, delicious milkshakes which were a meal by themselves. Nice decor inside and some outdoor seats available. Good for special occasions as it's quite expensive.

Overpriced and the low quality a big disappointment. Chipped plates and milk jugs added to the bad experience. We had to reorder poached eggs and we were treated as if we were the problem. Positive for the barrister. Company was great.

Food is pretty good quality - not the type of place I'd visit again though...It's the kind of place you'd take your 80yo grandma to for afternoon tea 🤔
