Good range of trade focused products and good old fashioned service and advice from the stores manager.
They didn't have what I wanted. I was expecting more from them since they have won awards but there was nothing that stood out to recommend them.

Placed an order 7 weeks ago for click and collect. Had been told multiple times that it would arrive that day but it still hasn't arrived. Whenever I call to ask where it is, no-one can tell me, they say they have to follow up "over East" and will call me back. They never call back and I am the one who has to call back. Unsure if what I ordered will ever turn up. Worst online shopping experience I've had. You would think that the people trying to solve the problem would be doing everything they could to find where the item is and keep me in the loop.
Pleasant to talk to on the phone, but seem very disorganised. I was doing the chasing to get an easy shed I had ordered delivered, and rand multiple times. Was constantly given commitments to 'let me check and phone you back within the hour", which never happened and I always ended up phoning them. Day of scheduled delivery they didn't show up or notify me that they wouldn't be coming. I had to ring, remind them they had a delivery scheduled and get delivery the following day.
I'm giving this store 2 stars instead of 1 only because they were quick to respond to my message on eBay regarding a faulty machine I purchased from their store. I was in no way, shape or form blaming the shop itself, merely asking how I go about returning or exchanging the product as it had given out 2 nasty electric shocks when in use. I was prepared to go through the product manufacturer exclusively, but thought I'd explore this option first. Their response was quick, which was appreciated. Then confusing, they requested a video demonstrating the fault which was for obvious reasons declined by myself and then their demeanor shifted to somewhat passive aggressive because they'd never had a fault with this product line before. I have no doubt! I too had previously owned one for 10 years without a problem. But that doesn't mean the one I currently had in my possession wasn't faulty. They eventually contacted me to notify me that I could return to product for an exchange. So I drove the 1 hour 2 hour return trip to the store front to do so. My greeting was unwelcoming to say in the least. The gentleman at the front desk took the item out back, whilst my husband and I milled around for an indefinite period of time. Upon returning he handed me the new machine without the box which I politely mentioned I was going to offer to him, as I didn't have mine and figured it would help with the return of the faulty item and he merely scoffed at me. I engaged in conversation one last time mentioning my apologies for the hassles and gratitude for the exchange, as I've never had an issue before, but that it was too dangerous to continue using. Lastly, would he like he to sign any paperwork. He abruptly said something to the effect of no, and looked at me with such distain over the top of his judgemental glasses, that I left the store with my husband feeling like they considered me a petty criminal. Will never purchase from them again, as it would seem any minor inconvenience even customers being electrocuted! doesn't warrant quality customer service.
Have purchased a number of items from this store. Have not been disappointed as the advice has been sound, delivery times quoted were spot on and pricing can be competitive. Examples: we were referred to a nearby locksmith by Home H as they did not have an OEM brand locking door handle which we spent months trying to replace the original had been swapped with rubbish from Bunnings. Most recently we replaced the skirting boards in our apartment. Home Hardware came to the rescue with the exact brand and type, ordered and in store within 2 days quoted 2-3 days. It was also 10% cheaper than elsewhere and Gus quite rightly suggested we order an extra length for our particular project. This is old fashioned fair dinkum service which my family and I appreciate when saving money doing our own handyman projects.
One star may be one star too many. We went through these guys for our kitchen renovations and it was a HUGE MISTAKE! They seemed out of their depth from the start, we were never provided the schematic plan we needed, were not provided the product we ordered, were completely stuffed around with the delivery date and time they made promises they clearly couldn’t back up several components were damaged upon the eventual delivery, the paperwork provided didn’t match the goods delivered - making it impossible to cross reference what was short supplied until we had completed installing what was sent, several components were then found to be missing. Throughout the whole process we found them nearly impossible to communicate with - never returning calls or emails and when we did eventually make contact we got nothing but excuses and delaying tactics. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this mob, they are incompetent and rude. They offer little to no support and frankly don’t seem to know what they doing.
Unbelievably amazing service! The team went completely out of their way to assist me with my query about a niche and very specialist product. The team were extraordinarily helpful and I will return the favor by giving them my business for any hardware and paint supplies I need. Keep up the incredible work guys!
Having received your christmas catalogue in the mail I went to the Osborne Park store to look at the Rockwell Skin offer that included a free battery and charger. I was particularly interested in the blower. When I enquired at the counter was told we dont have them and would probably get here in a week after being ordered. Strange to have a catalogue saying that the offer starts on a certain day yet I cant view the item in store and essentially have to buy the item online in the store. Very poor arrangement
