They couldn’t be bothered going to the fridge to cut forequarter chops thin for me. It’s 8 o’clock in the morning guys, I’m the only one at the counter. Your not that busy. Don’t tell me that 2kg of chops in the window is all you have. They’re on special ! We just moved to the area & obviously your getting enough business. GoodOnya. I’ll keep going to Rode Meats then.
Pork cutlets went off in just under 24 hours and smelt horrific, they must have already been on the turn when purchased.

Every time I have visited it’s been nothing but the best service, meats and advice! Ran in late one day and young bloke said don’t sweat it, i got you! The deals are stupid to go past! Every night we have something different and amazing with the bulk buys. Girlfriend thinks I’m a chef Tonight I’ll be eating butter chicken pies with puff pastry toppers! 10/10! Recommend to all!
This butcher is not in my local area but I purchased chicken schnitzels from here when I was at the shopping centre and was very disappointed with the quality. They were the most expensive chicken schnitzels I have ever bought and worst tasting! My kids hated them and my daughter was sick the following day. I have purchased chicken schnitzels from a range of different butchers and these were the worst by far.
We've resolved to support the little guys with our meat purchases and Barrow Lane are our local butcher. Gee I'm glad we did. The service is great, doesn't matter who serves you they're always friendly and helpful. They know their products and are more than happy to suggest particular cuts of meat for a meal you're preparing. We've had the prepared meals Sure it's going to cost you more than getting your meat at the supermarket but you're going to get what you pay for and it's worth it.
Unfortunately I didn't find the kebabs up to standard at all. They were small, and not much chicken on each skewer. As well as the marinate not being able to be tasted at all and the chicken being completely dry - Not due to the way they were cooked as well. I felt Woolworths kebabs to be much better and sad part is they are cheaper as well. The Woolworth kebabs you get a decent amount of chicken on the each skewer as well as the Honey Soy Marinate being able to be tasted perfectly. I won't be returning for the kebabs but going elsewhere instead.
Hey guys thought I'd give some constructive feed back. Love fresh cuts over wollies but if the marinades arnt soaked in enough it doesn't do it justice. I'm a fan of skewer kababs but I can't help but to prefer wollies $1 ones just cause of the marinade. If you guys could let it soar in a bit longer then usual you will have a very happy customer on your hands. Other then that keep up the good work
The meat is so juicy and delicious. The pork chops were the best had in years. Enchiladas are very yummy was worth every cent and service was excellent. Thanks guys
Love this butcher! The quality of the meat is so much better than what you get at the supermarket and the staff are much friendlier. So good to support local businesses too!
