Terrible customer service, whole order was wrong and all we got back was an argument with the staff and owner/manager with no compensation for their mistake. Wasted time and money purchasing from this franchise due to incompetency. Owner argued that it was doordash’s mistake and not theirs. Since when is a delivery service responsible for cooking the food? We placed our order and specific instructions, Barnacle Bills didn’t provide. Doordash as a delivery service did what they needed to do, and, deliver. Unfortunately on Barnacle Bills behalf, they provided the wrong order.
It’s very disappointing and immature to see that a manager would behave in such a manner, as to argue and lie about his customers, whom he has never met! You say we failed to give the right information to the delivery driver for our order, therefore it’s our fault we received the wrong product, but I don’t actually recall seeing you sitting in our lounge room next to us, when we placed this! So how would you know? Just like we are struggling to prove it wasn’t our fault, you can’t actually prove it was either! Your staff lied to me telling me you don’t batter products on your menu, then you confirmed this, when the week previously, we had delicious exactly the same meal battered everything no complaints! from you! Blaming a third party delivery company and taking no responsibility to check that the company sends through all requests and being humble enough to apologise and offer to look into it, you simply defend yourself, palm it off and accuse your customers of lying! Very disappointing that your reply was untrue. Shame on you.
Order was placed through DoorDash. Explained EXACTLY what was wanted in order through special instructions. When order was delivered wrong instead of apology there was lies we don’t batter seafood platters, when they actually do and arguments with us, the paying customers. The fact the manager/owner is still arguing and lying in the review responses tells you how he treats his paying customers.
Great family value with the current promotion their SIGNATURE PACK. You can always tell how good a place is by the amount of people in the restaurant. Several groups eating in and a steady stream of customers coming to collect their take away. Well done to the friendly team for pumping out so many quality meals with a smile.
Butterfish was terrible. Got 6 pieces, threw six pieces out. Flavour was terrible. Normally good. Something went wrong somewhere. Chickettes we’re fine.
Restaurant was clean, service was basic but friendly. Meal cooking/waiting times were extensive but food is always fresh and hot so perhaps justified.

Decent size restraunt for eating in. Nice for a relatively affordable meal and quality is decent across most of their stores.
