Can't go wrong with Merlo Coffee. Great taste so had no complaints. Can get quite busy tho so time it well and you won't have any issues.
The coffee here is pretty amazing. The queues tell the story ..no matter what time of the day or afternoon that you turn up there is almost always a queue of people waiting for their coffee it's that good!
Fantastic service! Today I was served by Cate, Fergus and Eloise the store manager. They were attentive and knew their product, giving some great advice. If you want friendly and informed service, highly recommend.
The best coffee and service I have experienced. I have been a regular Merlo customer for over 8 years now and have not once been disappointed. I also saw a comment about Tea below. She is a great girl and I have never seen her being rude to customers. It's never been my experience! Highly recommend!
Horrible coffee. The girl on the till was lovely for once had bad experience with merlo but I have waited 7 min for my coffee as the barista felt like chatting away. The milk was not slightly hot enough which is why I had to throw it away, don't have much time to get out of work for this but will make the walk next time for sure. Very sad.
Great Coffee and Service. Cool manager, who goes above and and beyond always friendly to all staff and customers.
This is a very good coffee shop in the CBD, catering to the office workers in the nearby area. They can get very busy during the mid morning and afternoon peak hour, but are very efficient and you never wait long. Coffee is very good, not burnt or bitter and the staff members are friendly and professional. Prices are standard and they do offer a discount for BYO cup. They offer happy hour prices between 2-3pm, which is great. There’s plenty of seating inside and out and I recommend this place for both, a quick take away coffee, as well as sit down catch ups.
It's not a place that is going to blow your mind, but the staff are all lovely and talented Baristas. Reliably decent coffee and quick service especially given their volumes at the rush times. Food is mostly so-so as there is minimal preparation on-site, but if you're in for a coffee and need a bite it'll do.
