Really good experience, friendly staff and whilst there was a problem with my car, getting it changed over was very quick and easy and they were all very respectful. Special thanks to the manager who helped to sort everything out and for the wonderful shuttle drivers and check in staff. Will definately use them again when next in Cairns
Incredibly dishonest and dodgy actions. We have only ever used Bargain Car Aus wide over the last couple of years and this was the first unpleasant encounter and will be the last with the company. Money hungry, deceitful and operate with a major lack of integrity. We picked the car up in pouring rain where we still ensured we took photos and videos of the existing damage consisting of major paint peel, lucky we did. Upon drop off, the inspection was only carried out on half of the car until he came across the exisiting damage that was quite obvious. He requested proof of photos, once shown and aware we had taken photos he didn’t proceed to inspect or complete the other half of the car. This is significant damage, one cannot be unaware of it. I wonder how many customers get charged excess for this but it isn’t fixed. The inspection report on his iPad did not have this huge mark nor did he add it to it. Do not recommend to anyone. So many vulnerable people would be taken advantage off. Disgraceful.
I had a terrible experience with Bargain Car Rentals and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. We needed to drop the car off at Cairns Airport, but Jay informed us that doing so would result in a $150 fine. Instead, they insisted we return the car to their location and take a taxi to the airport. This is not only inconvenient but also reflects incredibly poor customer service. It felt like they prioritized their policies over customer needs, which left us frustrated and disappointed. Avoid this company if you value flexibility and good service.
