Repair to a fridge freezer due to water damage. Had to wait for availability, but otherwise booked, came at appointment time and returned with part in time for Christmas. Excellent service from Karen and generally good communication from business.
The last time I used this business was a few years back. Took 3 visits to fix on part on a fridge. Also took close to 3 months to fix. Seeming they have monopoly in Ballarat had no choice but to call them. Only to be told a 2-3 week wait and it was going to cost $110 to just look at the fridge to say what’s wrong and then have to wait a number of weeks after that for it to be repaired also that $110 only covers 15 minutes, so you charge $440 an hour that works out at. That’s an absolute rip off and you won’t be getting another dollar out of me you are rip off merchants
Having to deal with this company for warranty work is very disappointing. A faulty fridge has now taken two months and no closer to being repaired. No feedback and no help even when I chase them up. Sadly not the first time they have let me down. When buying an appliance check who the local warranty contract is held by.
Called to ask if they can do something to fix my dishwasher that broke just before Christmas. The person answering the phone mentioned not available till Jan. As I was desperate, I asked if something can be done. He then spoke to me as if I was a dumb person and went on a tirade about how dishwasher is not an essential appliance hence I should learn to deal with it. Absolutely shockingly rude and uncalled for. Everyone is dealing with their own struggle, if it is not possible to help just say no but being rude is not an option. Sadly I think they get away with this behaviour as there is no competition. Gave it 1 star cos I can’t give 0.
I have a Miele front load washing machine which malfunctioned after 10 years of operation. I called Barclays to repair it. Four whole days off work to accommodate the very inflexible timeframes given by Barclays office, along with 3-weeks between each visit, which left me without a washing machine for three months. Then to find out the machine is STILL doing exactly what I called them to fix from the beginning. I paid $120 on the very first visit before the serviceman had even left. After the fourth visit I called to say I didn’t want to waste any more time on this fruitless endeavour, I was told “that’s okay, there’s nothing further owing “ which I was pleased about. Shortly after that call I received a statement showing $190 outstanding but no invoice to explain what it was for. This morning I find a “letter of demand” in my letterbox for $190 along with the invoice finally, apparently for parts and labour. I’ve paid it, against my better judgement, but I would strongly suggest NOT using Barclays for ANY repair work, EVER
Amazing service from Daniel, so genuine in his approach to help customers. So professional in what he does. Other than the time period to get service as they are super busy, the booking in process and information i recd from the admin team initially was accurately and timely. Great work guys...
Fantastic service! Heater element on LG dishwasher died. Booked in for someone to look at, they accommodated my work schedule, and said Daniel would call before arriving. He did, worked out what was wrong, ordered part and was friendly and efficient. Came back a week later with said part, again calling beforehand. Was efficient, friendly, cleaned up after himself, explained everything that was going on and tested dishwasher thoroughly before leaving. Highly recommend, especially for LG products.
Definitely 5 stars. This wonderful company went above and beyond today. I could not have asked for more. Their friendly service was a huge credit to the whole team. I highly recommend them.
Barclays Appliance Centre has a new standard and that standard is Daniel. I was amazed how he diagnosed issues with my appliances and the speed in which he fixed the issues/problems. Best Service engineer I have seen in years.
After my own horrible experience, and seeing others terrible reviews online I can see I am not alone. Absolutely sub par abhorrent service and dealings with this company. To the contrary, Their technician was a lovely man who made the home visit and was only doing his best. But the staff in admin and their manager who I had to deal with was disgusting. In short the brand company told me dont deal with Barclays let's get you a full refund and sorry for your experience.
