Price : quite expensive as the portion is very small Taste : 2.5/5 *Not a Taiwanese, but before Covid, I go to Taiwan simply more than 6 times a year so I would say I love Taiwan food. But this restaurant is not what I expect. I would recommend for a try. But for me, won’t be a return customer. All the taste of the food is nothing special and tasteless. First, I think using chicken breast to make the Taiwan style basil fried chicken is a very bad choice. The chicken breast doesn’t marinate well and too dry. Also the signature beef noodle, the soup is very light which means maybe they didn’t add any MSG or chicken salt inside. That’s good but I think they can put something to make the soup stronger. I am pretty sure about that, as even I finished the whole bowl of soup, it doesn’t makes me feel thirsty. More than that, we order the pork mince with rice which I think u can put more soy sauce sorry, as I think the taste is too light. The pork mince with rice I ate in Taiwan is very rich and thick. And the eggplants, the skin of the eggplant is very chewy which is not easy to swallow and chew…. I recommend to use the small eggplants which is long and thin and more popular in “Chinese” cuisine. Surprisingly, the eggplant taste good. Very luscious. But could be better though… For 1 person dinner, I recommend u to order one main rice or noodle plus 1-2 dishes. As their portion is small. You can see what other people order before u make decisions anyway. But for a adult normal eater. I think I can finish 2 bowl of pork mince rice and 2 dishes easily Thanks for reading.
As a Taiwanese, I would say that the taste is somewhat authentic. I did enjoy my dumplings and the taste of beef noodles wasn’t bad. Good quality meat as well according to my partner. However, I feel like it’s a little bit over priced for the portion you get. Not much option on the menu and the images don’t look very appealing either. Wish they put more effort into the dining environment as well. Probably wouldn’t come back unless I really miss food from home.
Wholesome Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Friendly service. Good for a quick simple meal. Order at the touch screen and take a number with you to a table. The beef noodle soup $15.90 is the specialty - meat is tender and soup is flavourful. The bao and boiled dumplings were also nice. Portions are average. You won’t walk out very full, but you won’t feel hungry either.
Food: 3/5 We ordered 3 noodles, the beef noodles, beef with tendons and combination. We also got two sides, the eggplant and the pig ears. Everything tasted fantastic, with the noodles having a great bounciness. The soup as well is very nice and unique. However, price wise, it is very expensive and not the best value. A bowl of noodles is at least 15 dollars, going upwards to around 19. Service: 2/5 Although it was a busy Sunday, they only had one staff on for waiting. Furthermore, it took around 17 mins for side dishes to come out, and the noodles a bit later. Would expect service to be faster. You also have to order through a machine which is just extremely slow. Atmosphere: 3/5 It's a dainty little store with nice colourful decorations. We did sit outside which was slanted, but beyond that it's a fine looking store.

Wheel Cake is a traditional Taiwanese snack. Thanks for making such a delicious dessert. The two traditional flavors of red bean and taro are highly recommended. Only Thursday and Friday at Chatswood Market. Braised Pork with Rice and Eggs was delicious. The pork is very sweet and not greasy, and the egg is full of soy sauce light aroma. The beef noodles are super delicious. The soup is very refreshing and sweet. The meat is so tender that no bite is required at all. GWA-BAO is a well-known traditional burger in Taiwan using juicy pork. Highly recommended for gourmets who love pork. thanks
A small Taiwanese restaurant. The food was tasty and the portion was just right. They have a self serve ordering system similar to Maccas but the instructions were confusing. Asking the customer to scan the QR code at the table when it was really asking the customers to take the table number sitting right next to the ordering screen. The ordering screen is located right at the main entrance which also blocks other customers from entering and leaving the restaurant.
A Taiwanese place where you can get a quick bite for a reasonable price. Tried the beef noodle soup and braised pork over rice. Contactless ordering as you enter, take a number to a table. Foods are served fairly quickly.Food: 4/5
The food was very tasty, the chicken wings were super crispy! My only comment would be that the chicken wings were under salted and the steamed veggies need a little more sauce to make them more interesting. But I’ll be coming back for the beef noodles.
A good no frills taiwanese noodle shop. Noodles were delicious and service was quick. Always thought beef noodle soup had bok choy but wasn't included in the two soups we got
