Popular french bakery in Ashgrove. A nice selection of pastries and savories. Recommend getting in early so you don't miss out. Service was a little slow, but the seating area is really pretty so we didn't mind.Food: 5/5
The pork & fennel sausage roll, Guinness beef pie and coffee are all to just die for. At first I was worried they’d leave me disappointed, but they most certainly delivered on a huge taste. I’ll definitely be back for more!Recommended dishesBeef Pie
I like the sweets and the area. The coffee was delicious but too too cold disappointing. I will go there to try again. They got nice bread as well.
I bought a pork and Fennell sausage roll and an almond pretzel. Well, let me tell you that both items were unique in that I have never seen or tasted such items before and they were both absolutely fantastic, especially the almond pretzel. I will go back for more unique items soon.
Ashgrove is lucky to have such a great local bakery! We frequent here for our bread delicious multigrain and french baguette and sweet treats best croissant in Brisbane… my favourite is also the chocolate raspberry. Staff are all lovely as well!
Pastries and coffee as usual exceptional. But I'm sick of having to wipe down my own tabe while the wait staff chill out, out the back. The state of the floors and tables and surfaces is disgusting. Crumbs, fingerprints and dust everywhere. Rustic does not mean dirty. People expect cleanliness out of their food establishments.
The best pastry on the north side. Hands down. I usually end my rides here on the weekend, and after going up and down Mt. Nebo there is nothing like an excellent coffee and a perfect croissant, or a cherry danish or both.
The best arthouse bakery in South East Queensland. There is not a single other bakery that comes close. If you want to see what good bread is go to Banneton. If you want to see what a good sausage roll is, go to Banneton. All I hope is they open more stores.
Fantastic, flavourful, flakey pastries The pork and fennel sausage roll was a particular stand out for me. Soo tasty! And the pastry was perfection
