Appaling customer service, the worst experience I've EVER had. Been banking with them for over 20 years and there's 0 care, total indifference and apathy, even though my issue was a very stressful one that impacts my livelihood. The bank manager bald guy with beard did not even bother to make eye contact with us and we spent almost 4 hours !! In the branch today, waiting and almost all day yesterday. I'm just lost for words. Moving my business elsewhere as soon as possible and I encourage everyone to do the same! I only put one star as there's no option for no stars.
Would not recommend this branch. We have been waiting for 2 weeks for our new bank cards. Turns out they never ordered them. Now we have to wait another week. Our 'case manager' never returns our calls, texts or email. And he also stuffed up a lot of our new home loan paperwork which we had to go back in to get fixed. Reception staff are great.
We switched over to Bank of Melbourne about a year ago. Greg assisted us with the entire loan process and made everything easy. His customer service was fantastic, and was able to sort out any issues that occured during the process. By far this was the best experience we have ever had with a bank, and it was all due to the professionalism and dedication shown by Greg. Would highly recommend him and BOM Geelong.
Apparently this bank doesn't open until 10.00 today, which meant sitting in the car for a half hour. Although, my partner is grateful for the help he has received from the staff here in a previous visit. Have now found out this bank is not opening today.
Came here in something of a state after being messed around by a mortgage broker trying to renegotiate my home loan. Already had an idea of what I wanted. Got an appointment with Greg really quickly and I have to say, I couldn’t have been more impressed. Here are the headlines: - They asked me for documentation once and only once... no ‘we also need this’ a week later or ‘we forgot to mention that’ - All meetings were made around my schedule or that of my sister’s - If Greg makes a plan with you, he keeps it. Everything done by or before when he said it would be. No need to follow up or check in... by the end, I learned that you could just count on it which wasn’t easy for me because the company I dealt with before were the exact opposite of that - Any complication were presented with a range of solutions and they were talked through with pros and cons explained in detail - Got regular calls and email updates just to check in and they were only to happy to take calls and answer questions But the best part... We got everything done faster than expected and I got better rates then what we originally thought Full marks. Really happy to have dealt with these guys
This is the worst bank I have ever gone into in my life, went in today and the place is in chaos, no direction for customers, staff don't seem to have a clue what is going on. One tells me I need a card to use atm, other staffer says no I don't and does the transaction for me. There is never any sign directing you which tellers to attend, staff seem to enjoy a good chat with each other rather than serving you. I only go here to deposit to a friends account and rarely has it been done in a timely manner. I would never have an account with the bank of melbourne, here or anywhere else. Pick up your game.
Only been here once when I was organizing a new credit card but I was soo surprised. Lovely staff, very welcoming and helpful! For a bank it blew all my expectations
These guys make me smile every time I go into the branch.... seriously the friendliest staff... makes all the difference...
