Stumbled across this bakery for a late lunch / what a find. The operator was extremely engaging and generous with his time. Super fun and excellently themed. Unique Tassie business.
Loved the vanilla slice. Firm custard and patry, sticky icing. Enjoyed the flat white coffee whilst sitting out the front. Less enjoyed the noise from the traffic, be nice if it was either less of it, or it moved more slowly. Next time we'll ask for our two items to come in the one cardboard tray to reduce waste. All in all, Banjos we enjoy in our visits!
My second visit at Banjos is the best with a variety of pies and bread. We had a keep cup with free coffee or tea first fill, good initiative to make Mother Earth sustainable. I enjoyed the scallop pie last time and ordered the egg bacon and beef pepper which is an absolute puncher. Great Aussie food...
Absolutely fantastic great sausage rolls and pies will definitely pay them a visit again when in Huonville Tassie. Yum.
Vego option - cauliflower cheese pie was really nice.
On holidays and dropped in for a quick bite. The food and coffee was great and the staff were really friendly.
Great cafe for a coffee and a meal always well presented and friendly atmosphere Prices are average but food is consistently good . Plenty of comfortable seating and fast service.
Not the best. Went there at around 5pm and got a cajun chicken pitas and it was horrible. It was like it had been made 3 days before and left to sit - it was dry, tough and chewy. Same with the quiches. Maybe this place is good in the morning when food is fresh but not in the afternoon. Avoid it if possible.
Good service & I had a lovely curry chicken pie. It was delicious.
Went there yesterday, the assistant was friendly and polite. I had the Raspberry House Cake, my favourite, it was delicious, much better than the Banjos near Salamanca Place . It was bigger with more filling and raspberries than the other store. I also noticed the blueberry ones looked better. We also had pies and coffees, really great!
