Very good Indian restaurant with rich authentic tasting dishes. You can see and taste the southern Indian influence on the menu. The meat was very tender and tasty. As a nice touch the dishes are served with a banana Leaf. The staff is super friendly with top service. Highlight is the big cozy terrace in the back. We will definitely come back for more!

I went in with a lot of expectations after the reviews, but I have to say it’s a hit or miss. The prawn madras was good but the tandoor mix, and naan were not amazing. Naan was dry and did not have that wow effect of a naan. I think the location and ambiance is great, but food should be better.
Local Indian cuisine with many delicious options to choose from. We went for a tandoori mix plate for a starter which was delicious. Different tandoori meats with some nice sauce that complimented it well. I can highly recommend to share this starter between 2, you won’t regret it! The Onion Uttapam was delicious too and comes with 3 gravies & a pea curry. I went for a sweet lassi which tasted delicious too. Honestly nothing bad to say about this place. Service was on point too and we were always greeted with a smile. Highly recommend to check out this gem! For the food which you see below + 2 lassi’s it came out to about €40.
The fish curry was perfectly spiced, nicely presented and cooked masterfully: it melted like butter in my mouth. The best one I had so far. Naan bread and rice were fine.
Cosy restaurant with amazing food. The staff does an effort but unfortunately they suffer a bit from their own success. We had a reservation at 20:30, had to wait until 20:40 until we were seated and we got our food at 21:45. Will try again because of the amazing food and friendliness of the staff and great value for money but they need to straight some things out.
Banana Leaf is my favourite Indian restaurant in the Antwerp area so far. It was our first visit. After the complementary papadums, we ordered the shish kebab, which was so tasty, full of flavour. As main course we had the butter chicken which was also delicious, the chicken was really tender and the sauce was nice and creamy. Perfect meal. Tip: ask for the mango lassi and garlic naan if you want the full Indian experience
Yesterday I went again with my mother. It was again very tasty food. And host lady was very nice. Will visit again and recommend all.Food: 5/5
Delicious food and wonderful, kind and warm service. Every dish is delicious! I have been there several times and each time I am reminded of why I come back. Their food is cooked fresh and it is so tasty. I went there for my birthday yesterday with 9 friends and all my friends were impressed and loved the food. We had a really good time and we were taken care of so well. I highly recommend it if you want to eat really good South Asian food in a nice restaurant with good service. Vegetarian options: They have a lot of delicious vegetarian options
Food was really awesome, service was good, staff was friendly. Food tasted authentic and one of the best Indian restaurant I ever been to in Europe
