Great food and lovely attentive staff But maybe offer a "knife and fork" because a "fork and knife" doesn't sound like you may think it sounds. Gave us a giggle though The beef and cheddar wontons are amazing. Thank you for the lovely birthday suprise, my mother in law was stoked.
Nipped in for dinner before attending the Chch light festival, pleasantly enjoyed our quick dinner, food was delicious I wish could have ate it twice, will most definitely be back, service was attentive even though we were early diners, great atmosphere and lovely setting.
Great place for groups or couples. Food was fabulous - tasty and plenty of it. The desserts were not as good, but the entree and mains were great.
Dined here a year or so ago when it first opened and it was amazing - delicious sushi, dumplings and curry. Dined here this week and the menu had changed completely. Tried 4 different things on the menu and they all had a very odd taste. Not my cup of tea. Won't be back.
I enjoyed my time there with my friend. The staff was nice and services was excellent. For me, dishes aren’t authentic, food was more sweet than spicy, when it supposed to be more spicy, but very creative. I still recommend to go and try. “Must Try” dessert was outstanding. I booked the table at FirstTable, so recieved half price for our meal, which was awesome, I may be hesitated to go, if I have to pay for full price for small portions dishes.
A lot of the dishes were saturated in spice, some worked, and some I felt overdid it a bit. However over all I enjoyed my outing, the food was pretty good, atmoshphere was casual and relaxing, and in all honesty I would eat here again : 4/5 stars :
Dined here tonight for our 10th Year Anniversary, food was horrible and staff service was disappointing. Ordered the Akaroa Salmon - it was very bitter, only managed to have 2 bites. For someone who can handle bitter food, this dish was certainly the worst, worst than medicine. Also ordered Phat Thai with grilled King Prawns - dish was decent but the grilled Prawns were very raw. Bad service - Horrible food - Expensive, wouldn't recommend to anyone!
Wife and I went while on holidays. Food was really good and the menu names for their dishes definitely gave us a chuckle. Overall experience was a fun night out. Would recommend to our friends and family if they visit there.
Upon entering the restaurant we were made so welcome the service the whole evening was briliant.We were a group of eight and everyone complemented on there meals the flavors and presentation were fantastic O M G the cocaine rice was so addictive.We all thought the prices were good.A wonderfull first time experience highly recomend to all. We will be back.
Was quite surprised they managed mess up my salmon. It's not even hard to cook!! Also my friend had a noodle dish and the noodles were overly chewy and undercooked. I wish I could give it zero star considering it's also overpriced. I feel like the only people that'd enjoy this probably find butter chicken too spicy and like their steak well done. Also what's up with the weird and racist menu names? I'm south east Asian ethnically and that's really NOT okay.
