Nice setting, typically American from the 60s, very colorful. The price is overall reasonable but some products should be more consistent and less bland. Also some points to improve here and there to make the experience even better. To test if you are curious and come back if you liked it, like me

might be one of my favorite burgers here!!! it's really fresh and delicious, I went to this place less than I order, but it's very funky when you are there too. I also love the homemade ice tea's

Nice atmosphere but the food was not great at all. They don’t accept Visa cards which is not mentioned anywhere beforehand. Had to go to the bank machine to get cash and return. Has never happened to me before in Brussels. Will not return. Kid-friendliness: Nice setting, playroom and child friendly toilettes, though not really clean at the end of the day.
Balmoral has the typical American diner look & ambience. The food is ok but particularly overpriced. A sandwich or a bagel shouldn't be more than 10€! There are definitely better places to eat.
Menu is very reach. Price is ok according to quality of food. Unfortunately service was so slow and staff was not so nice towards clients.
I'm giving it 3 stars because of prior experiences. But time was pretty awful. The food is great, always has been, and this time was no exception. But the service is terrible. We arrived at the place at 2 in the afternoon a bit late by Belgian standards, but this place had people coming in even after we left. We tried to order the fajitas, but they had no more. And you might think, well it happens, but it was on their suggestions menu and it's on of their star dishes and as stated earlier it wasn't that late yet. The fajitas were the only reason I wanted to go there so I was really disappointed. We ordered burgers instead and a nachos starter After a good 20 minutes of waiting we ask if the nachos aren't ready yet. They tell us that they forgot and that the main dishes are ready. So we pass on the nachos and get get the main minor annoyance: he served the burgers wrongly and someone had a bite at some else's burger. Mid eating we order some more drinks and after a while we have to order them again because the waiter had forgotten them. To end we have dessert, but they forget one of the desserts. **So all in all, good food but terrible service. Also note that this time the place was pretty clean but other times we have found food and garbage on the floor under the table. I gave it 3 stars to represent overall experience. If I were to judge only last time it would have been 1 star. On the other hand I would give it 4 stars without including this last experience, service was never great but reasonable.
The food is not the best but the scenery makes up for it and pleases young and old, if you're into this style of diners of course. Only, last time we went having been. couple of times already , all four of us got sick afterwards resulting in us never going back. We believe the funny tasting milkshakes to be the cause. And as some have commented before, we also once had an incorrect bill, due to tired waiters!?!. Didn't make an issue at the time as it can indeed happen but it seems to happen more than once...
