Great design converting an old industrial site in a prime harbour location into a landscaped public park. The land can now be enjoyed by the locals while keeping with the site's history through sculptural industrial structures. Great walking paths over several levels of heights, offering great views of the Sydney Harbour. Ideal to meander around, enjoy the view or find a patch of grass or a bench to relax.
An interesting place to take kids and let them 'explore', lots of hidey holes and rocky parts. Great harbour views. Not recommended with prams or wheelchairs. There are too many steps. Public toilets and a picnic table located near small parking area on NW side.
Nice views towards Harbour bridge and loads of place to sit and have a picnic.
A beautiful park with a fantastic lookout to the harbour! Really good spot for a BBQ!
Beautiful space overlooking the water. Quiet and peaceful setting even though the wind was atrocious we could still find refuge. Toilet facilities are available as are BBQ areas. Nicely landscaped.
What a beautiful park. A hidden gem I am glad I visited. I went here to check it out on my lunch break. There is a lot to see and do here. Lots of areas for dogs to walk and play. A lot of views out over the harbour. Amazing views towards the city and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
I've only just discovered this park and it's amazing. Great repurposing of industrial structures for sculptures and a great story of how the community persevered to make this a public space. Fabulous views --- a wonderful find!
Good little nooks n cranies for a picnic or just to wet a line.
Great park, a hidden surprise on Balmain Peninsula that I'm sure many are not aware of. I had a quick visit here to find a geocache but was taken by how cool it would be to wander around and have a picnic here. It was a weekday when I visited but planning to bring the kids here for sure.
Such an amazing park. So many different areas to explore, all with great views. But please don't come here, I like it when it's not too busy...
