Grouse park, just what i love lots of transition and still a good amount of street obstacles around the edge and a great A-frame/fun box. The SPL we ran today was a really great turnout and a lot larger than most areas, locals are legends ;
I’ve ridden this skatepark for the last 10+ years, great range of obstacles for all skill levels. A majority of locals are super welcoming and friendly. BBQ, Toilets, small playground and open grass areas next to skatepark.
Large, well maintained skatepark with two main bowls. Shade cloths. Quite a clean area with adjacent playground. Our 8 yo complained of older kids swearing at him and bullying him out of the bowl; they need to remember that they were beginners once too.
I pay my rates and still the Woodsman’s High kids are rude to me. One of them said the F word.
Great skate Park & basketball court. Has bbq facilities.
Hard to rate because I'm there a lot. Big bowl not very and small bowl with a spine flowing into a large are with varied banks including hips, transitions and funbox with across and down rail. Also a channel with kickers on top, ledges and some smaller stuff. Euro gap with big rail. Very wall. Includes basketball ring area. Good for beginners and advanced skaters. See you there, sorry if the description is a bit confusing, to hard to go back and edit on my phone. Sk8 or die!
Great park better for the bigger more advanced riders ,skaters and so on small section for little kids very busy park
The skate park is awesome but there is history here also! The LT Fraser Reserve is the site of Ballarat’s major skate facility, the Ballarat Regional Skate Park. The reserve is also home to the Open Monument, a 430 square metre installation which recognises the contribution of the Chinese to Ballarat and the surrounding region from 1850 onwards. Features Public toilets BBQs Playgrounds Skate park
Most people think skateparks are scary and people are going to judge I thought that until I went, everyone was lovely and the skaters taught me how to actually skate 10/10 good place
Good skate park. Can get busy at times. Wish there were lights for night sessions
