I’ve always found Ballarat Library to be a place where I can slow down and enjoy reading without distractions. The quiet corners feel almost like a retreat from the bustle outside and it’s easy to lose track of time with a good book. The staff are warm and approachable and the atmosphere makes you feel welcome whether you’re studying, browsing, or simply taking a moment for yourself.
Away from spring's horrendous wind, you're softly welcomed into a library with a clean, rather minimalist interior. The variety and variations of books as to how neatly they're arranged and how sanitary the place is what everyone needs in a library is splendid. Consider it an absolutely relaxing place to catch up on some study and read a book for certain. As for the bathrooms, the women's one has baby pink tiling! Not to forget that said again, it is ever so clean and that's very rather important when it's provided to the public. This is a quiet, well maintained library in Ballarat. Well done to the staff.
Excellent library. It has everything you need for a great study session, including Meeting rooms, a coffee station, computers, WiFi, interesting books, magazines and newspapers, well organised. It even has a Maker Space with 3D printers and a cinema for children. I was quite impressed by the cleanliness of the place and helpfulness of the staff. The architecture is modern, there's a lift and accessible entrances, parking places for cars and bikes. It's also quiet, with enough places to study on the ground floor and upstairs. A treasure, really.
Clean, modern facilities. Quiet, comfortable environment for students. Open late enough that I can get a couple of hours of study in after work.
The wonderful experience my son and I had at the library was something that is rare these days. The lady who we asked for help to join up, took so much time and patience with us.. the library has a fantastic space and is separated into different ages, so no pesky adults will disturb the bookworms while they are engrossed. There are spaces for art and they hold different events and lend DVDs with all the current titles.. it's just a wonderful wonderful place to be .
