I found this place by accident many years ago and I have never had anything but fresh tasty meals. It has a humble cafe setup attached for dining in and a steady stream of clientelle filter through the tables. My favourite from their menu is charcoal cooked kebabs as a meal with salad and bread or with rice. Today I had bread. The mixed kebab selection comes with chicken, mince, and lamb kebab and a yoghurt mint dipping sauce. I cant help but come back when I'm in the area. Very friendly service rounds everything off. Five stars.

Coming from the the GCC I had plenty of authentic afghans food, Balkh food is at par and even better than lots of afghani food I. Have had before. The place is cozy and is all about quality, large quantity of food. The Shami Kabab is amazing the mixed grill the chicken kebab, bread and rice all of it was amazing, add to it the Laban Ayran completed the meal. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. If you are in the neighborhood, then you have to try this place.

This place is next level in every way,  1/2 chicken salad and bread and dip with a drink.... $13. Guys are super friendly and the dining room is spotless, you really can't do better in Dandenong.  Ample parking for large vehicles aswell.

This place is so good we travelled from the Gold Coast to eat here. They chicken and lamb is cooked to perfection, the rice and salad is amazingly good.

Tasty food, a bit spicy for me. Friendly service. I would certainly try it again in the future.

Don't come to Dandenong without stopping here for the most tender, juicy kebabs you'll find in Melbourne.  There's plenty of high end restaurants in town that simply don't know how to cook meat this well. Whenever we venture from the other side of town, this is a must do stop.

Horrible food, worst place to go for dining, taste nothing like a traditional Afghan meal. I have been served rough meat with absolute zero spices and salts. The worst experience ever Food: 1/5

Typical Dandenong atmosphere. Food is generally better and cheaper than other places but lately they have increased their pricing. Dine in available but gets busy and noisy.Food: 4/5
