Best Chinese takeaway in the Adelaide Hills. Only place we will go to from Mount Barker. Nothing else compares, food is fantastic. You need to get past the abrupt service, however once you go a few times you realise it can’t be helped
FYI: **CLOSING DOWN PERNMANENTLY Tuesday 7th June** The chicken noodles with chinese mushroom is my favourite. Their various entrees are very nice. My housemate loves the combination noodle. It is expensive so it's something I can only justify having occasionally but I do like the food very much and they will be missed when they close down in a few weeks time :
Extremely disappointing meal. The only thing that gave it one star was the fried rice. Golden Fried Honey Chicken couldn’t be further away from soggy overcooked rubbery chicken. Sautéed Chicken was the colour of raw chicken and extremely flavourless. Very unappetising. The rice was nice but rather spicy. Most of it went straight in the bin. Would never go there again.
I was told we couldn’t have the duck with vegetables and mushroom as they were too busy. We ordered chicken with vegetables instead, sweet and sour chicken and special fried rice. It was expensive but very large serves. Disappointing that the only two vegetables in the chicken were cauliflower and broccoli ... very bland and unappetising to look at. The sweet and sour chicken was just ok. Won’t be going back.
I thought I would give this place another go, but we received exactly what we did the first time. Total RUDE. I asked if we could get extra sauce in our sweet n sour pork. The lady owner of the restaurant Bit my head off right of the get go and said "no, it's standard how it comes". And I had replied back, " the last time we had it, it was very dry" Then she yells into the phone "Ha" Your order will be ready in 20 minutes. Then hangs up. I was so angry with the way she spoke to me once again. I seriously don't know how she stays in business. I didn't even want to go and pick up the food. On arrival i said to her i was there to pick up my order and gave details. Again has another go saying " are you ordering now, you can't im too busy". I replied back with no I'm picking up my order that I phoned up for 25 mins ago, do you remember yelling at me? She didn't even apologise. Never going back. Food was well over priced for what we received. No stars deserved. I had to give one star because I had no option to give 0
Absolutely awful in every regard. Service was rude she mocked me for asking how spicy something was, as if all other restaurants don't have a simple system for rating spiciness, food was terrible and overpriced, and the restaurant looked like someone's poorly converted living room. Avoid at all costs.
It was more expensive than they advertised online by at least $3 per "meal" and the pork was fairly dry. However the special fried rice was nice and fairly priced. The lady who served us was also very friendly
The best. Takeaway only. Mr and Mrs Wong can't go wrong! Been there 3 times now and everything we have ordered is fantastic. Be back again soon

Lots of delicious vegies in the vegetable fried rice. Looking forward to trying more dishes
