Balha Pastry is a popular spot, often crowded, especially in the evenings. We decided to try their Kunafa with cream cheese and two types of baklava, drawn in by the high recommendations on Google Maps. Surprisingly, we found the Kunafa to be the standout, with its delicious taste leaving a lasting impression.nnHowever, the baklava, while decent, seemed to be overpowered by the taste of rose essence. Despite this, the overall experience was satisfactory.nnOn the downside, the customer service, ambience, and cleanliness were lacking. Sticky tables and a lack of responsiveness from staff to diners' needs were notable issues.nnDespite the shortcomings, the tasty Kunafa makes Balha Pastry worth a visit, though improvements in customer service and cleanliness would enhance the overall dining experience.

One of the best middle eastern sweets shop I have tried. Situated at the Williams Landing shopping centre. As of today, their pricing are 1kg for 44$, and half a kilo for 24$. Yummy

To be fair and to be honest, they are the best in Melbourne by far. Absolutely the freshest and the most authentic sweets and pastry in the town. Great range and variety plus fair pricing compared to others. We usually get some takeaway, and half of it is already gone by the time we get home. I know this photo is not the best to judge their level of quality, but I'll upload a new one on the next visit. We love the way they wrap the sweets and baklavas in a nice tray and put a ribbon on it. Makes it so special, so the presentation is world-class for a takeaway pastry. Well done guys keep the great work up. Highly recommended

I was approached with a friendly smile and asked if I needed help. I wanted something small for an after dinner snack and the assistant has suggested Ma'amoul pistachio which happened to be made on that day. I grabbed a couple. They were absolutely delicious. Will visit again when back in Melbourne.

Absolutely love this place!nI was walking down Sydney road and found this gem, I can’t believe they’ve been here for over 30 years! I didn’t know what I liked so the kind lady offered me a piece of baklava to try. I ended up purchasing a whole kilo to give out to some of my family! Cannot recommend this place more, will definitely be back!
