My dog was having trouble giving birth at 8pm and from the minute I rang them they were so helpful and told me to come straight in. My dog was exhausted, she had a puppy stuck in her pelvis and the ultrasound showed the puppies were distressed and there heart rates were dropping. Expectedly I was so stressed out and upset but the staff were so lovely and understanding they even made me a cup of tea. Long story short my dog had an emergency c sec and all puppies survived. I was quoted that it could cost up to $5000 due to after-hours and I was so surprised when they rang and said surgery was done and the cost would only be $3000 and for afterhours prices you would know that is soooo good! Not often the price goes down and by so much, they could of quite easily still charged me as much as they quoted but they are honest and care about both pets and the families. I can't thank you enough and I've told everyone I know that if they ever need to go to a vet after-hours this is the place to go!

This is the second time I've used vet 24 outside of regular hours when I can't see my own vet. I'm very pleased with their service again. They are attentive, proactive and well priced. I’m so grateful for everything Balcatta Vet24 did for my pup! Just two hours after being discharged from the previous hospital, I’m glad I sought a second opinion because the vet I spoke to listened to my concerns and marked us as urgent.  I got to the hospital and felt my fears melt away, I knew my boy would receive the care he needed from the moment I walked in with him.  The entire team at the hospital treated my pup as if he was their own, they were so respectful of his boundaries, investigated so thoroughly, had him on appropriate fluids and medications instantly. The team made his crate super comfy knowing he suffers separation anxiety, and gave him so much love.  Within 24 hours, my boy was diagnosed with a rare puppy disease that was a complicated case, and getting discharged with a treatment plan with 100% certainty he would he would make a full recovery for something that would have killed him had I waited for his general appointment the following week.  Just 48 hours after being discharged and my pup is already feeling ten times better.  I cannot thank or recommend this team enough. I am forever grateful  Onyx is alive and on the mend because of you guys.

I have been taking my oldest cat here for years - she’s had multiple surgeries and consults over the years, and I’ve always been happy with the level of care. Everything has been well explained and the vets/nurses/ reception staff have been lovely. I recently moved out of the area and got a kitten, so I thought I’d try a local vet for his vaccinations but was really not impressed, so I now drive 30 or so minutes to vet24 for both cats.

My dog had an emergency at 10pm. I brought her in and all of the staff were professional and compassionate, and took great care of her and me. The costs were very reasonable. I'm so grateful that Vet24 were open and helped.

The vet Josie was absolutely fantastic!! I had to bring my dog in at the middle of the night because she ate something she shouldn’t have and needed to throw up. My dog is very anxious at the vet and Josie made sure she was as comfortable as possible. She told me everything I needed to know in detail, was patient with all my questions and explained exactly what she was thinking and used her knowledge to give my dog the best care possible while making her as comfortable as she could. She was very friendly and funny and her knowledge and professionalism made me feel calm during a stressful time, I had no doubt my dog was receiving the best care!

My dog was treated with the upmost care as he couldn’t walk due to low blood sugar a blanket was laid on the floor. I was kept up to date with everything that was going on and the vet even made me a cup of tea. I found the price for the emergency vet in the early hours of the morning to be very reasonable

Easily the best vet experience my cat and I have had in her 10 years. Luna has extreme travel anxiety to the point of a seizure & we are moving to Albany. She was taken care of at every step, by every person we spoke to, all the girls genuine, patient and judgment free. The care I felt towards my cat was different to any other practice I’ve been to, devastated that we have only found it now that we are moving away. Thank you so much to the lovely receptionist Bella who I spoke to on the phone and came up to check on Luna again before we left. To the other receptionist Jess who was instantly helpful and patient as soon as we arrived. And finally Bianca the very kind and patient vet nurse and Dr Ashlee, who gave my cat the best care I have experienced as a pet owner. Thank you so much to this great practice and amazing team of women.

Worst front office I have ever been in ,What a disorganized shambles .  I had a urgent referral for a night stay over .but was told I had to wait for three to four hours just just to leave animal for monitoring and to see another vet ,Fees Fees Fees . This is after I transferred animal from another vet who couldn't monitor overnight and all documents were sent for the referral.  There must be a better way to operate a 24 hour care  I certainly won't go to vet 24 in balcatta again  Completely Disappointed with the lack of communication and confidence between referral vets and 24hour care services  Complete Shambles
