My custard scroll I just bought was stale and there was probably less than a tablespoon of custard throughout the whole thing no exaggeration, and to make things worse I found an eyelash extension hair in the dough! extremely disappointed with the lack of quality these days, it’s hit and miss
You cannot buy Hot Dog rolls in less than a six pack. Company Policy I am told as it is a soft bread. This is enforcement. How can this be good for me Having to spend more than I want, the environment, throwing away excess, or Bakers Delight? as it will certainly direct me away from this franchise and if true as they claim but I have not experienced in other stores will direct me away from a business I have supported for over 25 years
The staff there are friendly and they make a lot of good breads, buns and rolls. For those of you who want a finger bun I recommend this place quicker than most other baker's delight. The new managers of those other places don't seem to have what it takes to make good icing for them. The icing on the finger buns there now are runny and poor in taste
The bakers dont use gloves. Its disgusting! I used to buy from bakers delight beaumaris almost everyday. Until i went early a few mornings and everytime i seen the Baker in the back not using gloves I spoke to the manager and he didnt care and said "we dont have to wear gloves and if you dont like it then dont buy from here" Will be letting everyone i know about this as the baker is a smoker also and wont wear gloves.
I don't want to give a review like this especially to my local bakery but overall it has been disappointing almost every time I have been here, mainly for the fact that the food is not near well made as the one in Joondalup but it is also very overpriced for what you get. I feel this place could improve greatly by making their portions a reasonable size for what they charge but I do appreciate the service they give and wish them the best for the future.
