Very disappointed with the new owners. My Bahn mi today came with one sprig of coriander and one piece of cucumber. I don’t like the carrot but would have expected a little more of the other veggies.
While the food at this establishment is good, it is a pity that they are another business that is being bitten by the "greed for profit" bug. The crispy chicken Bahn Mi used to use the whole piece of chicken and was really flavoursome. Now you are lucky if they use half the chicken piece and they cut it so thin, you don't even get the hint of flavour of chicken. Very disappointing!
I've been going to Bakers Delicious for Banh Mi's for quite a while and went again today. The roast pork Banh Mi was very disappointing with little pork, and certainly not up to the standard of the previous owner. The staff were very pleasant, and hence the 3 stars, otherwise would have been 2 stars
Normally this bakery has nice food. However today I ordered an egg and bacon roll and to my disgust I saw the new owner take an already fried egg and cooked bacon from a plastic box next to the grill and place it on the grill to reheat it. How disgusting..!!! No freshly egg and bacon here. I rang the council and those lame puppets stated they can do this to f the eggs haven’t been in the box for more than 2 hours and then need to be reheated up to 75deg before serving. What a lot of bull shit… this is salmonella waiting to develop. I will never go there again. Since the new owners have taken over, the once pleasant attitude has changed.
Great bakery,awesome Bah Me rolls, great sausage rolls and pies, ready made burgers, rice paper rolls, fried rice and schnitzels ready to go. Along with fresh baked breads rolls and pastries and well priced even a coffee to go to.
Can’t believe that this bakery has high ratings. Very disappointed in the strawberry tart that I bought earlier today. The taste was beyond average, tasted like it’s been made a couple of days prior and just been sitting out. Also there was hair on the tart. Yuck. Threw it out straight away! Won’t recommend as customer service is unwelcoming.
Ham salad roll was pretty good and the lemon meringue was delicious
This is a great bakery with excellent and caring customer service. They really take the time to remember your name. I absolutely love going there for a quick takeaway coffee or a sit down and have lunch there.
Great bread, pies & sausage rolls. The Ban mi are a specialty plus a selection of other freshly made hot food's. Great service. Extremely busy which is a great sign
The best Bakery in East Bentleigh and surrounding suburbs. Exceptional service, delicious fresh food and always a personal touch
