Had the slow cooked beef pepper pie and the slow cooked beef and veg both very delicious and would highly recommend. Also tried a plain sausage roll and a cheese and bacon sausage roll again delicious.
Been coming here fairly regularly for a good number of years and it’s always 10/10, one of the few places left that do a classic proper Australian meat pie, plenty of flavours to choose. Also delicious sweet stuff from custard tarts to cinnamon donuts, the caramel eclair is at the top for me. Prices are fair and the staff are always lovely! Support local!
Stopped in here for the first time on the way back from the surf at Culburra. Had the best pie I've had in the area. Super tasty filling and pastry that actually holds together while you eat it! What a treat!!!!! Will definitely be back!!
Best bakery in town! The apple turnover is my favourite. I'll have to try the pies next time as I went overboard with the pastries today. It's lockdown - treat yourselves.
I can say that as a disabled person in a wheelchair I have received nothing but the best of care every time I enter the shop. The staff are extremely empathetic and understanding, they bend over backwards to make my shopping experience pleasurable.
Reasonable prices but my experiences here are very mixed sone times its great and other times its the complete opposite like today i got a sausage roll, pie and tea cake, my pie and sauage roll was put with the tea cake so fondant melted and the pie the lid waa already off and inside is so extremly dry and in no way fresh. These photos show exactly how i got it. Last time i ordered a carrot cake and when i got it home i sliced it and it had raisins which ruined the flavour, didnt taste like cake
I got the beef & mushroom and the chicken & vegetable pie. My boyfriend got the beef, bacon & cheese and the chicken& veggie. Such good pies! Decent filling and great pastry crust. Next time I’m in the area I’ll come back !
I do come more often since I discovered Eclairs done as they should be. I wish the vanilla slices had a cream as they should but even custard filled - are still good. This is one of the best bakeries in town.
The absolute BEST meat pies in town. Friendly staff and a great range of food. The pies are amazing and take me back to my childhood. I just tried a pie from Kangaroo Valley and they couldn’t even compare. Nowhere near as good as Bakehouse Delights AND at a much more affordable price. AAA grade.
We dined at Paperbark Restaurant last weekend and the food there was wonderful - but the sourdough they served us was the highlight of the night! incredible! We asked where they bought it from and they told us about Bakehouse Delights, so we stopped here on our way home and picked up a loaf and some anzac biscuits and old fashioned homemade iced vo vo biscuits everything was outstanding. This is the real deal bakery - nothing tricked up or glossy - just fantastic food...wish I lived closer!
