Story

Tassie duo, Chef and Restaurateur Philip Vakos and friend Stell Kaponas, have combined their experience to present a fresh, funky and 'gringlish' (Greek/English) vibe restaurant in the heart of Richmond.

Greek food traditionally, is enjoyed ‘together’ with family and friends, ‘Bahari’ embodies this philosophy and presents a shared menu; encouraging people to try an assortment of share-plates throughout their dining experience.

This relaxed, and intimate space enables Philip the freedom to really express his palate, by constantly reinventing the way traditional Greek food is enjoyed by his customers.

So glad we chose to eat Bahari tonight. Definitely the best Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Every dish melted in your mouth and made with love. Philip the owner was so welcoming and friendly. True hospitality. Well done Bahari.

The food is magnificent and not to mention how generous the portions are. Friendly staffs who are always up for a chat and good laugh. Definitely going back for more.

We had our Xmas function here last night and it was fantastic!! The food was delicious but the service was exquisite! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating exceeding our expectations in every way, nothing was too much trouble, thanks Heleena and crew .

Ordered takeaway for a birthday dinner at home and experienced such excellent service. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful, and even threw in a free beautiful baklava dessert when she heard it was a birthday celebration. The food was delicious!

Simply put...the best restaurant on Swan St! If you want great service and even better food, head here....its that easy - unbelievable!
