My 1 year old border collie was attacked by the dogs residing in the pictured caravan. I found out these people have been there since December.  The men who raced to save my dogs life where then threatened to be beaten by the owner of this caravan.  I know for a fact these rigs have been on site since December.  The two week rule doesn't apply to close chums of the caretaker, Basil.  Who is thankfully being replaced in May. Hopefully the new mob will keep the grass down, amenities clean and take the trash out.  This is one of my top 3 WORST campsites of QLD  Scouts honour.

Large sites, and well grassed. Plenty of shade available. Easy walk to the village where you'll find plenty of eateries, grocery shops, a good pub and, medical practices.  Campground toilets are a bit old and could do with some TLC. Unfortunately, the area around the toilets has a rather nasty smell. And generally, caravan park GPOs are 15amp outlets, but theirs are only 10amp. Therefore, you need a 10amp to 15amp joiner/adapter.

Absolute beauty of a place, good family friendly environment, care takers are all awesome and only too happy to help,  can't fault the place! Highly recommend you come and stay here,  best way to spend Australia Day for sure!!!

Awesome camp site, great facilities including power & water, at a low price. Even a swimming pool.

Very peaceful park with lovely park views. The toilets and shower blocks let it down big time. Spend some money and get it up to standard.

I was asked to go up and teach fire skills to the kids and had a great time, their facilities are great and everyone is made to feel welcome, would highly recommend everyone going up and joining in, i won't post pics of children so this is the only picture i had i would show.

Perfect place for a wedding!!! These grounds are huge, heaps to do. It's a beautiful place to explore. If you live up these ways with children then having this massive park as their playground would be ridiculously cool, just saying you know. Wish I had this on my doorstep when I was a snapper. I'm not a scout but I reckon you should give them a call

Great site, friendly caretaker. Enjoyed my stay.
