I had dinner with my friends last week in Bacar restaurant. Bacar is becoming one of my favourite restaurant now! We had great time eating amazing food there. Executive Chef Marvin and his team are awesome! The food was in great quality and well presented. We love to take beautiful photos for it. It was so impressive and creative. Bar man Terry is also very friendly and helpful. He recommended us the best cocktail. The staff were committed to a great service. Most importantly, every food and drink we ordered tasted great. We will definitely come back soon! Thank you!
Food is a bit pricey but that was to be expected. However the portion sizes were ridiculously small. Maybe I am just a big eater but definitely if you are an average sized man or a woman that eats more on the larger serving side I don't think you will be satisfied by 1 entree and 1 main. We had to call over to staff to get a menu after we had been seated, which should not be expected. You should receive a menu upon being seated at your table at the earliest convenice. I think that this sort of service and food portion and the taste does not justify the price.
First of all, apologies I only have 1 photo of that evening. As it was a company dinner, it would have been awkward for me to take photos of every dish. I ordered the salmon for the main and it was very delicious. The salmon was not dry at all and the vegetables that came along with the dish went hand in hand with the salmon. The truffle fries were amazing. You could actually taste the truffle in the fries. The cheesecake in the photo was also very light and not overly sweet paired with vanilla ice cream and caramel popcorn. To be honest the popcorn was a bit too much for me but otherwise the dish was yummy.
In Sydney for work and stopped in for some food. The service was amazing--everyone working there was accommodating and friendly. Hayley was great as were the others working tonight but I didn't catch their names. It's not often you go to a restaurant and everyone smiles and checks on you. The food was also really good. I had the potato and pea gnocchi and really enjoyed the crispy kale on it. Glad I got the dessert just make sure you're careful, could imagine chipping a tooth on the toffee.
The pullman hotels have done nothing but save me around the world. This restaurant is in the Pullman in hotel absolutely fabulous food it was a set menu because it was an event day but it was absolutely perfect for what we need before our showFood: 5/5
Great place to dine. Interior is nicely done and service is fantastic. The dishes are delicious and good sized servings.
The strip loin is delicious! The flavors are so well-balanced, the chargrilled taste is prominent. The customer service is excellent too! Stephanie went extra miles to check with the chef if they can accommodate some of my request. A pleasant experience.
Made reservations online for a 3 course meal. We were a bit disappointed that they didn't have that on the menu so we ended up ordering a seafood platter.
We had our anniversary there, the manager was so nice to come and congrats us, then he ordered special desert from the chef for us with the words "happy anniversary" on it. The food was great, delicious and talented in the way the combine the ingredients together. I strongly recommend this restaurant for you, price is acceptable and the food is worth the money
We ordered the truffle roast chicken and roasted lamb shoulder and were very impressed with the whole experience. The food was delivered on time and well packaged. Furthermore both meals and sides were delicious and the sauv blanc that came with it was a great drop. Highly recommended.
