we bought this cocoon vibe cot in store , great price and served by lovely lady Mary , great customer service .
Beware - this company utilises Shop for its ordering system… I have had many orders either directly through Shop and later unintentionally via Shop redirection to platform of all the orders via Shop none of them have ever been on time and often intentionally stating product in stock, when product actually not in stock.nI have ordered through Baby Direct and was shocked that it was through Shop, and subsequently not surprised that my item in stock that I selected for pick-up, to speed up ordering process was infact not in stock at all.nI was provided a 5 day wait for stock to be available at warehouse, which was not correct. I contacted several times over 3 days with incorrect information each time on ETA, and no updates provided beyond my own follow-ups.nFinally 7 days after original pick-up date item was available… the email of details for address of pickup was incorrect stating 273 Frankston-Dandenong Rd, when after 20 minutes of trying to find address in industrial estates and contacting Baby Direct, was informed it was 237 Frankston-Dandenong Rd… rechecked email and confirmed wrong address was provided. Exceptionally bad customer service at all stages from purchase, first time purchase with them… NEVER AGAIN. BEWARE!!!!
Purchased a pram via their website and was told it would be ready the following week. Emailed them the day it should have been ready to pick up and told it was not available yet, despite it being advertised as 'in stock'. I then looked up the business and saw the bad reviews and the Public Warning from Consumer Affairs. Emailed them immediately to cancel and request a refund, and fortunately received my money back.
Fantastic prices for the Nest Cot great service aswell. Preventing 5 stars was that I had to call up to check whether the stock had arrived since ordering in store, was told to come in Monday to pick up all items but upon arrival was missing a few items. Fortunately the attendant rectified the situation by offering free postage once the items arrived.
Intially i gave a 1 star however i am now editing to a 3 star as they did contact me 2 months after and offered me a free bassinet for the inconvenience they had created and in return if i could remove my negative review which i have agreed to do.nHad cocoon vibe cot and drawers delivered but there was no mattress so contacted them and was told they would get one to me within 1-2 business days. Followed up every 2 days after for updates to continually be told they will send it tomorrow or the next day. After a week I was told definitely tomorrow with same day courier. Then I was told they still didn't have it. After 3 weeks since initial purchase I ended up asking for partial refund which i did get so I could purchase mattress elsewhere. 2 months later I was contacted and offered a free bassinet after they saw my negative 1 star review which I have now changed to a 3 star review after they made an effort to fix their error. I do really appreciate them reaching out to compensate me for the hassle and we are very happy with our new bassinet
