I had a sausage roll, my partner had a cauliflower pie. Pastry was good. Service was friendly. There's not much seating in bad weather but would be okay on a nice day. The hot chocolate was a little on the cool side. I don't mind this but if you like it hot it would not meet your requirements. Cakes looked yummy but we didn't get any. Maybe next time.
Solid 4 stars. Good service. Food is tasty and abundant. I ate a pulled pork roll and my friend two spinach rolls. Bathrooms were clean as well. I do not give 5 starts because I did not manage to try de coffee. But it looked nice! Keep the good work! Totally recommend.
I ordered oa Reuben sandwich. I was very unimpressed. One very thin slice of corned beef , not even enough to cover the bread and way too many pickle's and sourkrought .. completely squashed in the toaster.. a complete disappointment... they should take of the menu if they can't get it right.
Just an average bakery/pie/ chicken shop - but not the worst in Ballina. Ideal if your really hungry and need a quick fix - better than the "big boys".
There's a reason that there is usually a que outside Babalinos. The quality is excellent. There's a tempting range of cakes, the pastry is something I'd expect to find in France. If you like good bakeries, give yourself a treat and tuck into one of their treats. Really friendly staff too.
The place had an amazing atmosphere. But that wasn't the main thing or anywhere near. The food was amazing I had a croissant the first time I visited and it was the best I've ever had so much that I came back on the last day of our holiday. I had an almond croissant and vanilla slice both of which were just as amazing as the first time we visited! Would highly recommend to anyone as this is my favourite bakery as of now.
Ordered a large capuccino and loved it!
Bought a chicken Caesar roll and coffee for breakfast. Both were appropriately priced; the coffee was excellent and the roll was really tasty. Loved the idea of using a cheese and bacon roll for it too.
Delicious food! And great coffee. Great bakery
Dropped into this gem of a bakery on a road trip. We ordered coffee and apple muffin. The coffee was good and the muffin was the best we have ever had. Because of this we bought some pies and more muffins for when we got home. We were not dissapointed! The free form pies were the best. Definitely will be making Ballina our rest point for upcoming trips!
