An Italian highlight for Nelsonians. This place deserves a visit with friends. Dont look at the menu, just ask what they've got and enjoy the unique evening with your Italian host and entertainer...I mean your Italian Cheff. Extra-ordinary.
Please come and open up your restaurant in Perth, Western Australia. Had to dine in twice the spaghetti was that bloody delicious, the service was excellent. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Nelson, NZ.Food: 5/5
Absolutely the best bolognese i have ever had! And the sauce was cooking as i came in so super fresh from the pot! And the home made tiramisu is TO DIE FOR! Definitely my new favorite place to eat! And the service was stellar!
Great food and service and that free lil bread was gob smacking . Think I found a small hair in my pasta though. I did bring it up w them.
The service was amazing, funny, passionate, welcoming. The food was even better. It's the kind of pasta that you can't even think that you could make at home. The sauces are incredible. The appetizers were unbelievable. And the desserts... No better way to finish a meal. This is not a 5 star Italian restaurant in New Zealand. It's a 5 star Italian restaurant anywhere in the world
We had an excellent dinner tonight at this restaurant. I can highly recommend it but please book a table in advance because the food is so delicious the restaurant can be very busy. This does not effect the service though. The food was outstanding and the service faultless. Thank you for sharing your lovely Italian recipes with us.
We absolutely loved Babagatto. The bruschetta was delicious, as was the two pastas we ordered, and sitting outside on a beautiful night was just a really lovely family dinner. The service was warm and friendly, and the rose was great too. My son loved his dessert and said it was the best thing he’s ever eaten - the food was simple and perfect and we can’t wait to come back when we are in Nelson next!
