My go to place for authentic Nepali food! Always delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The service is amazing too. Definitely one of my favourite Nepali restaurants in Melbourne! Highly recommend!
Momo were delicious as usual, and the thali was well put together. The rice was slightly on the sticky side, but still okay overall. The laphing was well spiced and very good—would have been perfect if the noodles were crunchy, as mine were a bit soggy. Overall, still a good experience.
Food were absolutely best. We thoroughly enjoyed their bhatti momo, laphing jhol, chiso jhol and also got sekuwa set takeaway. Food service was quick , neat & clean place and the staff were friendly.nnWill definitely be coming back for thakali set.
​I recently visited Baar Pipal and was genuinely impressed with the authentic flavors. The spices were rich and bold, truly capturing the essence of Nepali cuisine. My only slight critique is that a few of the dishes seemed to be a bit over-fried, which slightly overshadowed the perfect taste. While the service was great, the atmosphere felt a little bit off. The space itself is nice and clean, but it's missing the warmth and authentic cultural decorations I was hoping for. A few more traditional pieces or some gentle music would really enhance the dining experience. Overall, it's a worthwhile spot for the excellent food alone, and I'll definitely be back.
We visited Baar Pipal Restaurant on Monday and had an amazing experience! We started with Wai Wai Sandheko and Pulki, which were bursting with flavors and a great way to kick off our meal. Then, we moved on to the Kima Noodles, perfectly spiced and delicious. The Buff Sukuti was tender and well-seasoned, and the highlight of the evening was definitely their iconic Bhatti Momo—simply mouthwatering!nnThe food was fantastic, and the ambience was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food with friends. Highly recommend!
