Romantic decor and warm cosy atmosphere. It's a Filipino restaurant that isn't all about deep fried pork belly (although I have to say the local fried pork belly is worth the slightly raised cholesterol on the occasion)! Between the two of us for dinner we ordered a grilled chicken (3 skewers), a signature style braised goat in tomato sauce, a vegetable stir fry and two rice (one garlic and one plain). Grilled chicken was good, and so was the braised goat. It was tender and just the right taste in terms of its richness and acidity, but I suspect it was accompanied by some frozen peas? The vegetable stir fry was reasonable but no surprises. Garlic rice is aromatic but flavourless so it goes well with dishes that has sauce, it really enhanced the meal. Portion size for main is sufficient to share between 2-3 people, can stretch up to 4 if you just want a taste of everything. Adding a beer to the bill it comes to a total of $83 for the two with a relatively full stomach.

this one you shouldn't miss in Auckland. a must see and experience. the food falls nothing short in terms of its flavors and texture. a true blend of asian taste with a tinge of modern feel to it which exudes the character of what a modern Filipino dish should be.

Great friendly and efficient service with a smile. We shared the street food platter entree between four - helpfully the waitress recommended we only needed the one between us (initially we going to order 2). Whilst she did warn us that it was a lot of fried food I personally was expecting a lot more freshness to balance the deep fried contents - so it ended up being way too heavy as an entree for me. Wife and I shared Chicken Adobo and Eggplant Salad, the latter being very delicious and fresh and light in stark contrast to the starter. I wanted more of the Adobo Chicken even though I probably had more than my fair share; perhaps we should have ordered two portions or perhaps the serving was a little on the stingy side. Dessert was disappointing; half the options (literally 2/4 choices) were off the menu having sold out at lunchtime we were advised.

My first taste of Filipino food.. and I will be coming back for more! The pork belly and grilled squid salad need to be tried! Crispy and bursting with flavour. Really liked the chic decorations! Very cosy booths. See you again!
