The Tavern was built in 1855. With friendly staff, exceptional meals and cold beer, our historic, family friendly pub is worth a visit.

Nice place, good selection of wines and all drinks you need. Perfect for cyclists.
We had lunch at Axedale Tavern. The food was delicious at very reasonable price. We tried the pork belly, garlic prawn, bushman’s parma, supreme pizza. All were good. The waitresses were very friendly as well. Overall a very nice place, country style.
Such a great find. Really nice food and sandpit for the kids to play in while you have a few Bev's. Loved it.
