Charming hostesses, personable and respectful. Worst Chinese meal of my life. Whilst Expectations modest, I was quite disappointed. I was fine with waiting the advised time due to peak time and agreed this delay up front, thank you. Seafood sweet and sour soup tepid/cold and quite a small serving size water is not expensive, why so small? but taste was great, thank you. Satay Chicken meal was tepid/warm, and just ok. The special combination rice was anything but. No beef detected, prawns comprised of a couple small fragments of prawn. For a simple meal @ $46.30 it was sub par and poor in some fundamental respects, like not hot, small servings, lacking described ingredients, so sorry but I hate doing a negative review but this was off the chart for myself and wife. Underwhelming meal.
Good delicious food and excellent service…. Highly recommended!
Beautiful!! Good serves and the meat was so tender. We had mixed entree which was ok but the three dishes and fried rice we had were delicious. Some of the nicest Chinese we’ve had in a while. Will definitely be back next time we visit Hobart.
Amazing venue, thanks for hosting our son's 100 days celebration . The food was delicious. Excellent service and friendly staff and super easy to deal with. 10/10 . Highly recommended. Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! Parking: $5 an hour outside the venue, if you don't mind a walk cheaper around 10 mins walk. Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entry, no drama. Dietary restrictions: Easy to deal with as organized the event ahead of time, great to work with.
The food tastes ok. Only downward is the price. Too expensive for their dishes. Small amount of portion compared to the price they ask for. What's good is the waterfront view. Everything else is normal. Would not come back for their dish though. With the same money, you can have another great dishes.
90th birthday for my Asian dad. Banquet style. The food was authentic and extremely yummy, atmosphere was good, but I'm a banana so what would I know about authentic Food: 5/5
The location is great, but the service is awful!. The food is too oily and salty, the chef basically does not know how to cook aisa food. The worst par is about their service, you never see the smile from the servant, it seems you own $$$ to them. I went there once but was so bas experience.
What a lovely experience! What a lovely location nestled on the Hobart waterfront. We were welcomed at the door by a lovely lady who showed us to our table and bought us a menu. We went on a Sunday night, there was only two other couples and ourselves in the restaurant. Nice music in the background, not over powering like other Chinese restaurants. We ordered soup followed by 2 mains and rice to share. The food was possibly the best Chinese food we have eaten. Did not taste like standard out of a bottle sauces. We did not go home feeling thirsty like you would expect after most Chinese food. Expect to pay about $45 per person and expect to feel you received real value for money. We will be back! Very clean restaurant and toilet!
